Mr Beef and Pizza

OK, as I promised I came back to Mr. Beef to give it a try, last time I was incredibly disappointed, so in order to be consistent I ordered the cheesy Italian combo sandwich, I must say that it was a huge improvement over my last experience, the sandwich had plenty of beef, it was tasty and had just enough juice! So there you go! 4 stars!

Awesome restaurant! I love how it looks like a 50s diner on the inside. Their deep-​dish pizzas and gyros are great. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

I been exploring the menu over the years and my favorite items were their fried popcorn shrimp, chopped salad, gyros sandwich, BBQ beef, BBQ bacon mushroom burger, spaghetti and meatballs, and lastly their CHEESE FRIES!

Food is good. But customer service is definitely not their strong suit. The prices are ridiculously high. I personally Recommend New employees especially the women. Also for the love of your reputation please lower the prices. That’s all. I won’t be back anytime soon unfortunately. Good luck Mr Beef.

Went through the drive thru the other day. My office is located nearby and I won’t be back. They were very slow and the girl at the window was borderline rude when asked for Ketchup and if there was napkins etc. The fried shrimp and fries I got were soggy. The cocktail sauce I inquired about that was definitely in the bag, guess what… It was not there. This place has been around forever, but it has gone down hill.

Love this place. They have the best Italian beef. Best option for lunch!

This has to be the worst pizza ive ever had… about 30 minutes after eating my cheese pizza with extra grease my gallbladder started palpitating. i couldnt get this down my system and puked this up. NASTY!

I don’t know about this low score. I ordered a gyro sandwich and it was one of the best gyro sandwich I had.
Definitely come again if in the area.

We’ve had Mr. Beef for lunch during our training seminars, and it’s always a hit. I’m a huge fan of the BBQ Bacon Mushroom Burger, it’s pretty amazing. The fries are better than most as well. Otherwise, everyone at work has confirmed that the gyros are top quality. I would recommend stopping by and grabbing food. Maybe not the best atmosphere. Reminds me of a 50’s style diner and maybe that’s your thing.

Fifty’s feel to it, old school diner seating. Slices of pizza are always fresh and hot, best of all they are cheap

Cheese fries are amazing from here. Hot dogs are good, but stay away from the gyro’s. I don’t know what kind of meat they use, but it was almost shaved like a bbq pulled pork or something. It was really weird. Not a cheap place either for a ma and pa fast food place.

Bleh. They food is low quality and the shakes are tiny, I tried the burgers, big beef, and the cheese fries and was disappointed with all of them except the big beef which was decent. The place attempted to look retro, but just looked old with terrible smelling bathrooms and deteriorating decorations. Would not recommend.

It wasn’t bad but it was nothing to scream praises of it was average at the least as well as very expensive for what I eat cheesy beef and a slice of pizza the sandwich I could get for 5 bucks anywhere else there atmosphere was a bit dated boots were not new tables and chairs were not new you think charging prices like they are they would at least have a good Center furniture instead of one that is worn out and in need of replacement they probably should try a little harder the girl that takes the orders didn’t even say thank you when I paid nor did she say goodbye as I walked right past the registers to leave most places say goodbye and thank you maybe this place is too good to do that and I just don’t realize it anyway to get the same before I’ll just go somewhere else and save myself five bucks

Our car club has been hosting our club meetings monthly here for many years. They treat us very well.
Food is always top notch from beef to chicken sandwiches and burgers. Not much of fan of their thin crust pizza. The pizza by the slice looks good though. Love the fries and the brownies are awesome.
I’ve never had anything here that I didn’t like. Highly recommended. If your in the area, stop in.

Great Italian beef and fries!
I don’t intend to pick on the other reviewers here, but I’m unsure why this place hasn’t gotten better reviews (what’s their beef about this place)… I’ve only had terrific experiences here at Mr Beef. Their Italian beef tastes great, as do their fries… I would only recommend ordering a side of their gravy because one may want ‘more’ than what they put on standardly. Perhaps their brand of hot peppers (Hot Giardiniera) could be better, but that’s okay. Their sweet peppers are very good.
Perhaps, maybe they may be a little more expensive than other beef places around, but not by much, but the other places aren’t as good… The person taking the order have always been friendly & helpful, taking money and handing over the food.
I’ll definitely be back for more beef.

Cheap, quick, nothing special neither good or bad.

Food is good … cheese fries rock!!! But as I was there eating on Sunday with my 9 year old son I happen to look up and notices that all the ceiling fans had soooooooo much dust and dirt on them… looks like they haven’t been cleaned in 10 years NASTY … They. looled like they were growing fur on each and every fan blade.
Note to the owners… spend 20 bucks swifter makes a fan cleaning duster… CL EN YOUR NASTY FANS

It’s a really good slice of pizza with pop kinda place. It’s got that retro diner feel to it and serves some pretty good pizza. The thin and pan are really good, it’s the type of pizza that has thick cheese and sauce that is a bit sweet which is good, sausage here is good too.
It’s quick and ok on the $$$, for a good treat… the chili cheese fries are really good.

Yay! I’m a fan of their slices. I only met Mr Pizza as I didn’t feel like an introduction with Mr beef was necessary. A slice and a draft of MGD for about $ 6.99 with tax. A large enough slice with tasty sauce and a frozen pint of beer. It was good. Good za slices are hard to come by in this area. Yes there are a number of businesses that sell pizza but not many sell decent slices.
Their slices are thin crust with that bread crumb powdered bottom. Pastry type with a nice chew and tasty sauce with a crispy crust. Any slice on hand is a mere $ 3 dollars.
The place would remind you of 70s era diners with pink neon and vinyl booths. The kind of place small children would find intriguing. Speaking of children, this location has a separate party room that could seat forty with arcade classics. One detail not known to the public is that they have a drive-​thru. I’ve eaten in this area for more than a decade and found this out about a week ago. It’d be great if management knew the pluses with using signage.
