Still the best deep dish around. You can’t go wrong with«The Lou.»

Lou’s is a standard in our house for visitors from out of town and when the inlaws come and visit. Lou’s is a great tasting meal no matter what is ordered. Though thick crust is our go to, I am really starting to like their thin crust. Just a solid option for some good pizza.

Best bet is to get the half baked Chicago Classic and finish making it at home. Takes 20 minutes at 400 degrees. But if you want it totally cooked there, then tell them not to cut it as it keeps the crust crispier til you get home, esp. if it’s sausage. I also ask for it to be well done. Their thin crust is excellent too, but the value is so much better with a pan pizza as a large gives you 2 meals and a thin won’t and it’s not that much different in price.

This is the world’s best pizza! Not even Naples, Italy can produce pizza better than these! Their«butter crust» is like a pastry and defies sogginess even after a half hour trip in the car. They are not even the most expensive in the area. Not cheap but not Tortorice! Quite obviously I love this pizza and you will too!

I’ve been eating their Pizza almost my entire life and no matter what location I go into they are always great! Probably my favorite Chicago style pizza place. Love the deep dish sausage the best. Pepperoni is good too. The thin crust is very good as well. But there is nothing like their pan pizza. The best thing about their pizza is the crust, the cheese, the sauce and their sausage. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it, Also it still tastes great the next day when you warm it in the toaster oven or regular oven.

This is a delivery or carry out location only. Also, their menu has a few less options compared a full restaurant. We usually do carry out and order in advance in order to avoid delays later. Love the pizza. We order it with buttercrust and get the deep dish uncut to help maintain the freshness during the short car ride home. We also get the thin crust with garlic and I love how they’re not skimpy with the topping. Each piece has a decent amount of topping without being too much.

You cant beat Lous pizza. Love the deep dish. They have excellent wings, salads, and pastas too. If you havent tried this place, get the Chicago classic deep dish pizza.

Duh, it’s lou’s. This review is more based on the customer service we received. It was great, the guy behind the counter was very nice and joked around with us. We got our food on time and just as ordered and expected. He also over heard me say i wanted to try one of the pre-portioned sauces and threw it in for me. Great service!

Amazing deep dish! Wish they had more of a selection in desserts tho! The only reason they got 4 stars and not 5 is cuz they didn’t give me parmesan cheese like I asked for.

Lou Malnati’s is one of my favorite pizzas. Tonight i ordered the large stuffed pizza with butter crust. Sausage and peperoni. Man, this is just great solid comfort Za. Since I moved recently, I am now closer to a Lou’s. My cholesterol is shooting through the roof but its well worth it.

We were disappointed that this was only a pickup and delivery location but still excited about the experience. We ordered our pizza and went next door to pick out dessert. The bread sticks and marinara sauce were good enough for me to eat as a meal. The marinara sauce was fresh and hot. I burned my mouth eating it because it was so good. The pizza was even better. There’s nothing more satisfying than ordering an awesome appetizer and then being super excited about the even better flavor of your main entrée!!! I would love to eat this pizza more frequently but I don’t think my jeans would be too happy. I can’t wait to go back to Chicago to eat more of Lou Malnati’s pizza. The service at this location was great. The manager was polite and made sure his employees were gentleman. I love this place! I will most definitely be back. It’s too expensive to order online!

I usually like Chicago deep dish pizza, but the pie here is a little too bland for my taste. We ordered pepperoni deep dish large for delivery. The order took 1.5 hours to arrive and was like warm. The cheese and crust were both good, but the sauce was very plain and the pepperoni was on the sparse side. Overall it’s an okay experience, but I order delivery from them.

We tried the Mt Prospect location again on July 4th. First time we have had the thin crust(deluxe). It was very good. We also had the deep dish(Lou’s Classic) and it was much better.

This is a pickup up or delivery location only. They are located in a corner of a small strip mall and can be difficult to locate at first. Their delivery service is reliable with the food always being delivered warm to hot, freshly prepared and in a timely fashion. Their deep dish(pan pizza) is good. It’s not terribly thick compared to some others The best thing about this pizza is the cheese, tomato flavor and the butter crust. Their toppings however are bland and simply lack flavor. In spite of this the pizza as a whole is generally satisfying. The carry out menu is somewhat limited compared to other places. A good option are the barbecue flavored chicken wings. They are quite meaty and tasty. The barbecue flavor is just right, not too overbearing. There are certainly better options for pizza in the northwest suburbs. At the same time you can’t really go wrong with this place. They consistently provide good if not truly outstanding food.

Love that buttery crisp crust and the sweet sauce. The pizzas are very good, the pastas are average for takeout. Each of the salads are okay.

Can’t beat a classic! Great butter crust, sweet tomatoes, and of course plenty of cheese. You’ll need a fork and knife for this one. Calling ahead is recommended as it will take 40 minutes to cook the deep dish.

Good food but they have something against sending sending cheese and crushed red peppers for the pizza. I ask every time. Oh well…

I have been away from Unilocal for a while, was looking through my old review and thought this one needed to be updated. Lou’s used to be my least favorite deep dish pizza. and then I found out about the butter crust! I don’t order any pizza without it, just fantastic! We probably order from here every other week and it has become our #1 pizza destination.
