It was such a pleasure working with Grace for wedding dress alterations. She was very professional, organized, and easily accessible. I was struggling with the length of my dress because it was too long, and the bottom could not be taken up because of the beading. She found a way to take it up at the waist which was such a relief. She did everything in a timely manner and was straightforward from the start about the costs and the overall process. I would highly recommend working with her!

I just wish I could give Grace more stars. This talented, skillful woman has vision for how a dress should fit and the ability to make that vision a reality. She has just completed the work for my daughter’s wedding and it was wonderful! The work was done on time, and done well. She did the work for another daughter’s wedding 5 years ago – and then, also, we could not have been happier. Her costs are very reasonable and the dresses she has worked on fit perfectly!

Grace does a great job! She always does a good job and she’s also flexible with timing and has squeezed me in before… I’ve gone to her for 4 bridesmaid dresses now and friends of mine recommended her after seeing her with their wedding dresses!

Grace was very helpful and precise with her alterations of my dress & everything went as planned, on schedule. Not too much to elaborate on, really, but my wedding dress turned out perfectly and I’d definitely recommend her to any other brides in the area!

Grace was recommended to me by the shop where I bought my wedding dress (Reddington Bridal). I loved Grace! The first time I met with her, she said to me, «You need to tell me what you’re thinking and how you feel in the dress, you won’t hurt my feelings, just tell me.» I think this was really great and she set the tone that she is here to do a serious job and make me feel beautiful in my dress and I need to do my job and tell her how I feel. She always told me what to expect for my next appointment — most importantly, what state my dress would be in. I totally trusted her right from the beginning.
I think I had about 6 appointments beginning in Feb before my dress was finalized for my June 6 wedding. I could only go on Saturdays because of my job, and if that’s the case for you, I recommend making an early appointment because later in the day she starts to run behind. I’m sure its no fault of her own but just people throughout the day.
Grace also made me a custom veil because I couldn’t find anything I liked. It was beautiful!

Grace is a miracle worker, pure and simple. I bought a sleeveless dress for my wedding and took it to Grace to add sleeves and a neckline to it. She did a beautiful job adding the french lace I picked out to the top of the dress. When she was done, the dress looked better than new! She is very experienced and if you are like me, and don’t really know what you are looking for in your dress, she can help guide you to find the look that is best for you.

Grace is awesome! I’m about to pick up my dress this weekend and I could t be happier. She has done all that she can to make my dress the very best and has even been very flexible with my schedule. I currently live in Milwaukee and drive to see her because she was recommended to me and I’m so grateful for the recommendation.

I don’t know why Grace doesn’t have more reviews! I was referred to her by the bridal shop where I bought my dress and I could not be happier with the work she did on my wedding dress. Over a few short appointments, she changed things, one at a time, to transform my already beautiful dress to absolute perfection. She checked with me to make sure that I was happy with each change and made sure that I was able to ask questions about whatever I wanted. I thought with all the little changes she made (taking up the straps, taking it in in the waist and hips, adding a petticoat, adding a dart to a place where the dress didn’t lay perfectly flat) that the price would add up, but in the end it was very reasonable. She was also flexible with scheduling.
If I need anything, from work pants to a formal dress I might wear in the future, I will be going back to Grace!
