I will start off with saying maybe I had just an off experience but it was bad enough to not want to visit again. I went to pick up flowers for my wife’s birthday. I asked the florist to create something nice for $ 50. The bouquet turned out ok and my wife was not ecstatic about them. The flowers did not come with food and I’m not exaggerating when I say in less than 24 hours, they were half dead. I’ve never seen flowers die so quickly and bundled with not including food, and being what I felt was overpriced; I will not be returning.

Busse Flowers did the bouquets and boutonnière for my wedding. The bouquets came out pretty, but they were not exactly what I was hoping for. I wanted a certain look using anemones with a black center for all of the arrangements. I found out the day before my wedding that they were only able to get a small number of anemones and wouldn’t be able to use them in all the arrangements. While I understand that this happens with flowers, I had just received 5 bunches of the same flower the day before to use in my centerpieces. I want to the shop to see what my alternatives would be and Paul insisted it would be fine. When my flowers showed up Saturday, it turned out the anemones they had received were tiny and had yellow centers, not black. The look was completely different and I felt like Paul should have told me about the yellow centers since he knew I wanted black. The worst part was the boutonnières. I think he was so determined to use the anemones that he didn’t actually consider how the boutonnières looked. The tiny anemones he used didn’t look good. I felt that it was his professional responsibility to show me the anemones he had and ask if I wanted a replacement, which he didn’t do. I think that the flowers ended up looking nice but service wasn’t great and I didn’t end up getting what I wanted for my wedding.

Service was clueless – not terrible. I called to place an order. I give them my name, the delivery location, and the delivery date. Then I say I’m looking for roses. The response, «Ok. What’s your name? What’s your address? What’s your phone number? When do you need them delivered? What are the hours that they’re open?» And on and on and on. .. Several questions were redundant to information I had already given. At no time did we actually talk about my needs. So I decided to go in another direction on the theory that if they can’t handle a phone call, how can I trust them to handle a delivery.

Delivered already bloomed flowers and a half full balloon a day LATE for valentines day. The response to questions about any of that has been indifference. Take your business elsewhere.

Thanks for delivering dead/sad looking flowers to my mom for Mother’s Day! You didnt even include the the food for the water. I hope telaflora does does not use this shop as there go to florist for park ridge orders. Very upset! I would give 0 stars!

Terrible customer service! My boyfriend purchased a Valentine’s bouquet through Teleflora, and it was sent from Busse’s. Some of the flowers looked a slight bit wilted up arrival, but by the next morning, the arrangement really looked sad.(I had added water upon their arrival, as well as the next morning!). Due to the fact that this was the second time I had received flowers that wilted quickly through Busse’s, I thought it important to let someone there know that this happened. While the gentleman that I spoke with did offer to replace the bouquet, he told me that he «found it hard to believe this could happen to someone twice»…and later in the conversation called ME defensive. Not once did he apologize that I was disappointed with my bouquet, but instead told me how many arrangements they had sent out for the holiday. Four days after Valentine’s Day, I have a dead arrangement and will never return to Busse’s, nor recommend them.
