One word. Roaches. Ugh! Good thing we saw it before we started eating. Walked out immediately. Got on Unilocal to see another Unilocaler said the same thing 2 months ago. Sounds like a problem needs to be addresses to me.

After a long morning, we decided on TGIFridays because we love their food. It was after the lunch rush so there were maybe 2 — 3 others in the entire restaurant. We were seated at the bar and the bartender took around 15 minutes to return to the table to take our order. She never visited the table and we had to ask for refills. Once our food arrived ¾s of the way through we noticed roaches running around on the wall. The managers response was«we noticed there were roaches and we sprayed just yesterday.» Meanwhile, the roaches are running around, the walls weren’t at all clean, and when we got our drinks we both asked for new glasses as there was food on the inside. I don’t think there is ever an acceptable time for a restaurant goer to see roaches running around a restaurant playing tag next to where they eat. I hope they close down for a day and do a deep clean!

Great atmosphere and staff. Food is good. I frequent this location often and they would benefit from an update in décor and speed of service when serving. The quality of food is not always consistent, but good nonetheless.

I like the food at TGI’s, but today the service was really slow. Had to ask for more drinks 3 times? Might have been a good thing… Got the bill and was charged $ 4.59 for one coor’s light. Really? is it just me or does that seem way high for a 12 oz bottle of domestic beer.

Came here on a 2 hour lunch, and my lunch was at 2:00pm so it was after the«lunch rush» and there were only 3 other tables that were sat in the whole restaurant. I didn’t get my food for an hour(when I did get it, it was wrong) and couldn’t even get a water refill. And that was after waiting 30 minutes to just to get it! After waiting so long I didn’t even have time to eat my lunch.

Had lunch here on Sunday with a friend. We sat in a booth near the bar. Our waiter was wonderful. He was very fast, attentive, and always made sure our drinks were full. Since it was ½ price apps, I decided to indulge. I simply wanted to try out what they had to offer considering that I’ve never been here prior. We ordered the cheese sticks, pot stickers, and spinach dip. I don’t really understand the point of serving pot stickers at an American based restaurant chain. They were okay, but nothing special. The cheese sticks were very good with a satisfying crunch. I could have done without the spinach dip though. It was very bland and just seemed like filler. Plus they don’t give you enough chips for the amount of dip. After the apps, I orders a side wedge salad wand the cajun shrimp and chicken pasta. The side salad had so much blue cheese crumbles on it that is was very close to inedible. My main course was good but some bites were just way too salty. I think it was the shrimp that was just caked in salt. Also, they have like 3 beers on tap and that’s it. Lame!!! So 3 stars goes to the awesome waiter and for catching a few peeks at a few burgers that other people had ordered and looked very delish. If I come back and that’s a big if, it’s gonna be to try a burger but that’s about it.

I can’t help it, I love TGIFriday’s … it’s convenient, unpretentious and dependable … and for an early Friday evening dinner, it’s a win-win. I should mention right up front that as a Rewards member, a limited time coupon for 20% off our total food bill was certainly an incentive. We were greeted warmly at check-in, promptly escorted to s comfortable booth and approached, immediately, by our server, Jay. All Rewards members are entitled to a free starter of house made tortilla chips and salsa. Coming off s three day Military Diet(that did not work) I could not wait to dive into the large portion of fresh, hot, perfectly prepared, in-house chips and chunky salsa. While I was stuffing my face, I managed to slurp down a tall, icy cold Skinny Msrgarita.(It had to be ‘skinny’ … lol.) While Friday’s has never been a choice to dine among conscientious dieters, they have, over the year included some lower calorie options. By ‘lower,’ I mean under 500 calories. I selected a simple meat and vegetable entrée … no potatoes or other starch. My entrée arrived on a sizzling plate and smelled no less than divine: an ample piece of chargrilled sirloin(hold the miso glaze, please) served on a bed of fresh, sautéed spinach, squash and red onions … accompanied by a bowl of lightly dressed halved cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls. Everything was delicious and certainly worth $ 14.00. My husband also enjoyed his amply-portioned entrée of garlic marinated shrimp and 2 juicy chicken breasts, tossed in a bruschetta marinara, served over melted mozzarella, grilled onions and red peppers … accompanied by a double serving of creamy mashed potatoes. The dish was fairly priced at $ 14.00. As a frequent diner, I had earned enough points that we redeemed for a free dessert … an Oriole blast … a large ‘ice cream sandwich’ consisting of a good amount of Oriole ice cream wedged between 2 large chocolate cookies. Oh yes, it had a hot chocolate fudge sauce drizzled on top. I never got to taste it … but my husband said it was delish. I want to give a shout out to our server, Jay. He was attentive and timed the courses, perfectly. It was a great meal at a great price. We’ll be back, for sure!

It was OK. Obviously a plastic-like chain, so know what to expect. We stopped in after a movie nearby for a quick appetizer. Service was good and drinks were re-filled very quickly. The spinach flat-bread was excellent and served quickly. It was the screaming toddlers whose parents were completely immune to the noise levels that made us want to get the heck out as soon as possible. Lesson re-learned — sit in the bar area.

My husband and I stopped in to get something to eat on, 4÷19÷2014, before our movie at 1:30. Why is it so dark in there? This was our first visit to a TGI& will be our last! The restaurant was not crowded and our food arrived in a timely fashion however it was COLD!!! We informed our server of the issues who advise the prep for the meal was correct and apologized for the way it tasted. During the end of the meal my husband went to the restroom and I took care of the bill 48.45 + a 10.00 tip for the server. Upon getting into our car my husband informs me he was not feeling well, so we 86 the movie and headed out on to Hwy 17 but made a quick U-turn as my spouse became VERY ill in the car! He was rushed to the ER and checked for possible food poison. I contacted the Manager Ryan and explain what happened… but was told the General Manger would give me a call with in the next 1 hour to address the issues… it’s 24 hour later still no follow up. THANKS!

Even though it is the typical chain, this one is pretty good. They have a really large bar which works in and against their favor. It is a nice open environment but at the same time, usually leads to waiting longer for a bartender to make their way back down to you if you park yourself on the non-kitchen end. I’m a fan of their ribs. The half rack comes with two sides and is always just enough. The spinach side is really tasty… definitely recommend that. All in all, not a bad stop in. Especially during a lunch break.

Our server was great. Quick and courteous! The food was just ok. I ordered the sirloin and lobster. I ordered medium rare and was served well done. The lobster was so over done it looked like a pencil eraser! I had to send it back which I hate to do. The appetizer was very good.

This was the worst Fridays I have been too. Food was nasty and restaurant is filthy. Customer service is terrible. Look up and you will see dust every where.

I rarely ever go into chain restaurants now that I live in the Charleston area where there are so many great locally based restaurants… but last night after coming out of a movie we decided why not just stop into Friday’s and get something real quick. I must say that I was more than impressed. Three of us went in and decided to sit at the bar and catch the end of the football game that was on tv. The bartender was a nice enough guy and was quick to serve us… it was fairly quiet in there being a Sunday evening. I decided to go with a petite 6 oz sirloin w/shrimp scampi. Two sides came with the meal and I decided to choose broccoli and rice pilaf. Both of my other friends chose one of the sample options. Everyone loved their meals… and I especially loved mine. One of the better meals I’ve had anywhere in the last month plus. I will definitely be returning again soon.(The price of the meal was $ 14.19 just FYI).

This is my 2nd attempt at TGI. My first visit left a bad taste in my mouth but I decided to give them another shot to see if it was just an off-night… it wasn’t. I ordered the«All American Stacker» which is a double bacon cheeseburger which according to the photo in the menu would have trouble fitting on a plate and would definitely be plenty to eat on for DAYS. In reality, it was a pathetically puny double cheeseburger that looked like it came from the Burger King value menu from next door. And frankly, that would have been a treat compared to paying $ 12 for a burger that was oozing grease. The patties were thin, the bacon was bland, and the toppings were so soaked in grease that the whole burger was pretty much inedible. I did get a pretzel stick appetizer and it was quite good, and their mixed drinks come in a shaker that allows you to top yourself off when you run low. All things considered, TGI is definitely not worth the money and I will not be coming back for their burgers ever again.

My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner here. Thankful they were open late. Vanessa was amazing. Very friendly, talkative(but not too much), and we really enjoyed her. She made great recommendations and was very helpful. The food was phenomenal. I had the Korean Tacos and thoroughly enjoyed them. Restaurant was clean and service was top notch.

I typically try to avoid chain restaurants such as these in the Charleston area only because there is so many restaurants to choose from and so many I still want to try. It was late the other night and most everything was closed so we decided to stop into Fridays for a late night dinner. They don’t always have it running but you can’t beat an appetizer and entrée for $ 10 deal. I would go back just for that deal for sure. The food was pretty good and I was very satisfied with my meal. That is not why I felt compelled to write a review about Fridays though. Most people have been to Friday’s, Applebees, Chili’s etc… and know what to expect. What I did not expect was one of the best waitress’ I have ever had. Her name was Vanessa and she rocked my Friday’s world… on a Sunday none-the-less. She told us all about the great deals, which I hate to miss out on if you didn’t know. She was genuine and very personable without being fake at all. She was very accommodating but not at our table every other minute. The perfect balance. I think the best was when I saw her head back into the kitchen, I mentioned to my guest that if she see’s the waitress come out, that we should probably get more napkins. Not that we even needed them that moment, but with our appetizers being a bit messy, I was going to plan ahead. All of a sudden she walks by and drops a stack of napkins at the table(guaranteed there is no way she heard me either). We just started laughing when we saw. That is when I first said«she is good», and she continued that way for the rest of the meal. I have never done this, but if I walked in to that Friday’s, I would ask if she is working and request to be seated in her section. See you soon Vanessa, if you or anyone from Friday’s in Mt. P reads this stuff.

My party got here around 6PM on a Saturday for a light snack and drinks. We had reservations at 8PM downtown at Poogan’s Porch and just wanted something light to hold us over. I ate half of a NY Cheddar burger. It was juicy. My table also ordered 3 aps. 1. Loaded Chips(really good) 2. Spinach dip(devoid of any flavor) 3. Jack Chicken Strips(breading tasted burnt) The waitress was nice and was genuinely friendly. However, due to the food, I won’t be back.

They have this amazing Avocado Chipotle Ranch… and their appetizers are all delicious. I got their Southwest Salad, and didn’t care for it too much. The service was great, we were checked on, great manners. If we were to come back to the area, I’d be back.
