Creek Club At I’on

Attended a wedding here and everything was lovely!!! The food, wedding scenery, and the overlook on the lake wasn’t bad either!

My husband and I wanted our wedding to feel like friends and family came over to our house for a backyard BBQ — and the Creek Club was absolutely perfect! From the wrap-​around front porch to the gorgeous landscaping, we felt right at home. We loved being able to have the ceremony and reception at the same location, and the entire Creek Club staff (especially Pam) helped make our big day relaxed and special. The Creek Club catering was incredibly delicious, and they were very helpful in making the menu flexible for the vegetarians in our group (bride included!).
Watching the sun set on the porch surrounded by family and friends, while sitting back in rocking chairs in front of a roaring fire — well we don’t think our wedding could have gotten any better than that.

Two days ago my sister was married at the Creek Club at I’on. We had looked into about 25+ locations before settling on this pretty little venue on the water. The staff was helpful and accomodating and the price was decent, especially for the Charleston area.
Hers was a fairly small wedding so we were able to have the ceremony on the grass under the oak tree, cocktail hour on the beautiful porch, and the reception inside. At sunset the place looks like a Southern Fairyland with the water twinkling, the flowers blooming, and the Spanish moss hanging out of the trees branches. There is even a gazebo and dock that ended up being a perfect location for bridal party pictures.
The only downside is that there is not much room for a bridal party to get ready and we were all stuck in a tiny office until it was time for the ceremony. A larger room with an adjoining bathroom is really what this place needs for a bride on her big day. It is right on the water so you have to be prepared for the possibility of boats making their way down the river as your event is going on. It wasn’t really a problem for us but we were a pretty laid back bunch.
Would definitely recommend this for a wedding, party or corporate event.
