My favorite Dunkin Donuts to go to there’s always the same guy that’s working there he’s great in customer service. They make sure to get you in and out of that place fast.

Quite honestly, I am surprised. I nearly did an 180 and was going to leave. I didn’t like having to go into a liquor store to go to the Dunkin’ Donuts. One, I don’t drink, so if I never have to go into a liquor store for the rest of my life, that would be fine with me. Two, growing up in Camden, I have learned that nothing good happens in or around a liquor store/bar. So I was quite hesitant to go inside. However, I had work to do on my laptop that had a deadline. There is a wall partitioning the DD from the liquor store. Although you could hear what’s going on over there(mainly the intercom), it wasn’t like it is noisy. Then again, I went on a Wednesday late afternoon/early evening(waiting for rush-hour traffic to die down). I don’t know if I would try it on a Thursday-Saturday evening. The place is clean. It has outlets for charging electronics in the café area. The service was friendly and fast. I am glad that I didn’t judge a book by its cover.

A DD inside a liquor store — odd yet genius at the same time. There is a half wall partition type of thing separating the two stores and you can hear everything happening on the liquor store side. It’s a surreal experience everyone should endure at least once. Service is on par with what I expect from a DD — quick, efficient and friendly. Plenty of doughnuts and bagels to choose from even late in the afternoon. The only downside to this location is that it is a witch to get out of the parking lot onto Marter Avenue. That is no fault of DD, of course, but be aware of the hassle.

Today was my first time going to this particular DD. It was only on my way to work today becuase I had to run an errand before work, which brought me to Route 38. I find the location, inside a liquor store, kind of odd, but hey, it was convenient on my commute so I won’t judge. And if it were later in the day, perhaps I could have picked up a bottle of Bailey’s to go with my coffee. Anyway, as far as your typical DD goes, this one was perhaps a litle above average. There appeared to be a couple of people ahead of me, but I guess they were already taken care of because the gentleman behind the counter was already asking for my order as I was still walking up. Another gentleman made my coffee while I was still paying — I like the team work. My egg and cheese sandwich was done in probably less than a minute after I was done paying, so I was in and out, without any real loss of time on my commute to work.

If you’re looking for a donut or coffee shop this is probably not the place you want to come to. If you’re looking to add a little bit of Irish Crème to your coffee then this is the PERFECT place to come. I gave it a 4-star for the liquor store, but only giving the coffee/donut part of it 3 stars, because the Dunkin Donut part of it was really more of an after thought. It used to be stocked full of alcohol before they renovated years back. Definitely recommend a visit though just for the novelty =D

As you will find when reviewing Martin’s Liquors, this is a donut spot inside of a liquor store. If they have sit down eating or popcorn, would we ever leave?
