Although the dancers are extremely talented and helpful, they are very unprofessional when it comes to money. Instructors do not answer their phone for weeks at a time and do not return voicemails, texts, or messages left on the studio phone. It took me 3 weeks to get in contact with someone in charge only due to threatening to dispute charges on my credit card from their studio. Took another 3 weeks to receive a refund, when I was told on 3 occasions they were mailing the check to me, every time when I called to ask where it was, they were apparently too busy to mail it out for 2 ½ weeks. As dancers and instructors they are amazing, as managers and professionals they fall very short. I ended up having to go in person after almost 6 weeks to get my check back and the only excuse I was given was that they were very busy. If you are too busy to handle money or clients due to never having time unless your getting paid, hire someone to handle the managerial aspects of the business. Michael in White Plains purposely dodged my calls for 3 weeks. Yuliya responded to me an hour after I texted her saying that I needed to speak to Michael saying she would pass along the message. Her next text was asking when I would return for classes, when I responded explaining that money is tight and I’ve been seeking a refund from Michael for the past 3 weeks, suddenly I received no response for days. No response to texts to 2 cell phones, voicemails on both cell phones, and voicemails on 2 studio landlines(Mt. Kisco & White Plains). Once they were aware they had a time limit now before the charges were disputed and I filed an official complaint, all of a sudden everyone started to respond to me! Calls back, texts back, and from both studios! Regardless of the process, I received my refund with almost $ 90 removed for credit card fee, studio fee, and taxes. However, if this was handled more professionally, I would’ve loved to continue my lessons at a later date when money wasn’t as tight. Now though, I will never return and I will ensure that everyone I know understands how these 2 studios handle their clients and money. Everything is fine and everyone is all smiles when they’re being paid, the minute that changes though, everything else goes with it. From working previous jobs that consisted of customer service, I am appalled that this is how they chose to handle the situation. I have text logs and phone logs from almost a 2 month period to support this. Be WARY!
