Papa’s Pizza

The food here is decent, but nothing out of this world. Their wings are the only thing that have stood out to me, they beat two cousins wings easily. Decent pricing. They deliver to homes, and are the only pizza shop located on Mount Joy that does so. The last time I stopped by for a pick up order, the girl behind the counter was extremely cold and rude to me for no appearant reason. Like I had inconvenienced her with my presence. Did not say hello, did not thank me, just stared at me. In the past I’ve had much better experiences with their customer service, but the rude counter girl left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Will probably not be returning anytime in the near future.

We order Papa’s Pizza a couple of Thursdays a month. Their pizza is awesome. Today was my boyfriend’s birthday and I requested for them to make the pizza in a heart shape half pepperoni half cheese. They said yes without hesitation. They are amazing, their employees are so friendly, and best of all their deliveries are super fast! One time I ordered pizza and it was at my door in less than 15 minutes! Keep up the great work at Papa’s! We will keep comin’ back!

Gregory, Kurt and josh… you obviously don’t know a good pizza place! Papas is wonderful, and my personal favorite in Mount Joy! We dine in and order out, every time meals are dead on and service is great! Pizza is awesome, Papa’s has been a family favorite for years. Broccoli cheese bites are great, just ordered them tonight with a party pizza, which for the size is a great price. I’ll always recommend it!

My wife and I have been coming here for three years. We have always enjoyed there food and they have NEVER messed up our order. The staff there are very sweet as well. Papas is the definition of what a pizza shop should look like.

I’ve definitely had better pizza, but not bad considering it was $ 8.99 for a large cheese pie. The staff is friendly and the service was quick.

I placed a simple online order for a pepperoni pizza and 20 wings. The order was placed at 5 pm and I asked for the order to be ready at 6 pm for take out.
I arrived at 6 pm and was promptly handed my order of wings, and was told that my pizza would be «right out».
Twenty min later, I received my pizza. I was not the only one waiting either. Their was a pregnant woman who had called in and was told that her pie would be ready in 20 min. She arrived at the twenty min. mark, and still had not received her SMALL CHEESE PIZZA when I left. In fact, when I left, their was about 7 people standing around, waiting for their call ahead orders with one of the cashiers walking around double and triple checking what people had ordered. I understand that it was a Saturday night, but I have seen better on Super Bowl Sunday.
As far as the food quality, it was not bad. I have had their Stromboli in the past, and that is pretty good, which is the only reason that there is a star. But as far as the pizza and wings went, it was just run of the mill, and in a town with about 10 pizza places in 5 miles, there is plenty of run of the mill pizza to be had that does not require dealing with the long wait.
I will not be returning after the service that I received tonight.

I was pleasantly surprised with the pizza quality at this place (ordered a Margarita Pizza). The staff was also extremely nice. Will be going back again.

Living in Mount Joy, we have our choice of numerous pizza locations but we keep going back to Papa’s because their prices and service is second to none. The fact they delievy and are fast is great!
They finally opened up on Sundays so I look forward having them taking care of our wing fix all season

I do not mean to be disrespectful in any manner. However, why would you eat at Papa’s Pizza when Two Cousins Pizza is just down the road? I most certainly support Kurt’s claim that great pizza is located down the road.

Mount Joy is a tiny little town and it literally has a half dozen pizza places. None are terrible, but this one doesn’t stand out. My kids love coming here, so I go, but I never go without them.
Adequate, inexpensive and fast food — but if you want great pizza — keep driving down the street.
