Pennyrile Inn-Best Western Motel

This use to be a Best Western but I was told they lost the franchise. Odd location just south of Madisonville, KY. There is nothing there except for a truck stop with a Subway. The people were very nice but the room was in need of a lot of care. The TV only worked on ½ the channels, numbers 2,3,4,5,6 and volume were the only buttons that worked on the remote. Many electrical outlets didn’t work in the room. Nothing has ever been moved to vacuum and there were dirty towels hanging on the back of the Bathroom door. The toilet ran constantly (I adjusted it to make it stop) and the sink stopper would only go up if you got under the sink and did it manually. This could not be adjusted as there were parts missing.
The beds were good.
Prices weren’t that much cheaper than in Madisonville.
