Tidelands park is at the far end of the Embarcadero just before the boat ramp. It has got manicured lawns beautiful benches and lovely tables in the lawn where you can watch the sand spit, the boats, the kayaks, your children, and the people who walking by. The playground for children is definitely one of the best in town. It has giant seals to crawl on, a giant pirate ship to play upon, and for children with imagination, this is the place. The benches afford beautiful views as do the tables. Just bring your picnic, bring your children, bring your camera and enjoy enjoy enjoy

A great park with fabulous weather(even when Morro Bay is a freezing hell-hole) and tons of fun stuff for kids to climb on and in. There’s a pirate ship and a couple of giant cement dolphins and a cement whale’s tail. Good sand and grass(separated by a short wall, which is nice for cleaning up the kid afterward) and a sidewalk along the docks. Views of Morro Rock and boats and part of the bay. Birds, seals and salt fresh(or salt marsh) air. Enjoy, but wear sunscreen; even if it looks cloudy. Go get some coffee at Top-Dog first and enjoy the scenery.

What: — A small park by the Morro Bay More Info: — Parking lot next to Tidelands Park — Free admission — Free parking — Picnic benches This is a small, well-maintained park just by the Bay and it offers amazing view of the Morro Bay, Morro Rock and the sand spit. The park features a playground for kids and a couple of benches for those who simply want to take it easy by the waters. We spent a few minutes in the park, walked on the boat dock, took the stairs across the street to go to Olive and Morro intersection to capture a stunning view of the sun set just beside the Morro Rock.
