I am not sure who to communicate this to, but I thought I would start here. I scheduled a fishing charter with Morro Bay Landing for 3PM to 7PM today Saturday August 8th on the Endeavor. I had my 9 year old son and my father with me. We checked in a 2PM and waited roughly 20 minutes in line finalize our registration. Once done, we went next door to Tognazzini’s(great Oysters in the Oyster Bar by the way) to get a little food. We finished and walked down the down to the boat at 2:51(we checked our watches). There was no boat in sight. I approached the office and asked where the boat was. A man from Morro Bay Landing told me that yes it had left early and he had notified the restaurants around the dock. I told him that we were at Tognazzini’s directly next door and we were not notified. I inquired as to why he would send the boat out early with 3 paid patron not there. He told me that, that’s what he decided and if I didn’t like I could go F*** myself. I am not exaggerating. At this point I told him that I didn’t think that was called for and why would he send the boat without us early. Once again he told me if I didn’t like it I could go F*** myself. Keep in mind this is with my 9 year son and my father standing there. This all occurred within 2 minutes of my asking about where the boat was. Please note that he also started to move toward me in a threatening manner. A woman from the office stepped out and told me in a raised voice to stop talking to him and«did I want a refund or not». I said yes and she ran my refund. As she did this I told her that I thought her coworker was way out of line. He began to come toward me again threatening me. She said, do you want your refund or not, holding the receipt implying she might not refund my fees. I got me refund(only for 2 of us, I paid for three. I did not notice until later). As I walked away with my son and my father I asked a couple of bystanders if that looked as terrible as I thought it was. With that the original guy came charging out toward me telling me to get the F*** out with two people with him. I never threatened, insulted or cussed at any of the employees. Please note that I am not exaggerating and I have witnesses(unfortunately including my 9 year old son). One of the employees said to me «you better leave or he will go». We did and as I walked away with my son, my dad and my fishing poles, I was truly in shock. I hope the owner of Patriot Sportfishing does the right thing. I have never had an experience like this, especially in front of my 9 year old son. I have more to lose than the guy that threatened me, obviously, and he is lucky for that.

Unprofessional and dishonest. We had a very bad fishing experience due to bad weather(strong wind & high waves) This company had fallen to provide warning that the weather condition is not suitable for fishing and unsafe. We were on the afternoon trip from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on 7−25−15. This company knew that the weather is not suitable and unsafe for fishing; and failed to inform costumers or cancel the trip, uncaring about the customer safety and the trouble they will face.

I took my family out on a half day trip. Excellent trip. We all caught our limit and left with 40 fish! Special thanks to the deckhands Simon and Charley, they were a great help with tangled lines and removing stubborn hooks in the fish’s mouths. My kids especially loved the trip, even though my pre teen daughter wouldn’t touch the fish she caught. Hee hee. We vacation on the Central Coast every year and we will be back for fishing next year.

Best possible whale-watching experience! You will get a personal tour of the Morro Bay area, as well as a safe ride into the pods of whales. If you want to feel the open air of the ocean, see multiple whales, and hear them breathe and blow spouts, this is the ride for you! Michael was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our expectations and desires, as well as a couple of surprises for our intimate group! I would have paid twice as much for this experience.

My fiancé, father, and I just did a half day fishing trip with these guys last Monday 8÷11÷2014. I caught 6 fish, my fiancé caught 8 and my father caught the limit of 10! While we did have a great time, there were a few things that bothered us… First, we brought our own poles and asked 2 people from the company before boarding the boat if they would work and both people said yes, and both said that if they didn’t work not to worry because they always pack extra poles that people can rent on the boat in case something happens… That was not the case however, both poles failed and when asked to rent the extra poles on board the crew member rudely let us know that they didn’t have any extra poles for us… So the crew members VERY reluctantly let us use theirs… I should mention though that one crew member named Simon was very helpful and we appreciated him. However, the second crew member named Megan was EXTREMELY rude and never helped us. She was too busy fishing herself to help everyone. She literally would turn her head when asked for help. I screamed that my pole was stuck and my line was about to break to her and she did nothing but take pictures of her own fish that she caught, and she was less than 5 feet from me! Overall, it was a good experience but I feel it could have been better…

My wife and I went out with Captain Kevin today and what a fun and pleasant time it was! Captain Kevin was knowledgable and entertaining. We did the Bay tour and if we come back this way we will be sure to do the whale watching tour. Book a trip, you won’t be disappointed!

We did this for a special birthday and wow, what an experience! Michael is very knowledgeable about the ocean and was able to find lots of whales. He has a great, friendly personality, which made the trip more memorable. We learned a lot from him on our trip. We live in the area and have been on other whale watching tours, but this one is definitely the best. We definitely recommend this one over any others and will bring our visiting friends and family.

The Whale Whisperer… There’s whale watching, and then there’s The Whale Experience. Our 2.5 hours with Mike out of Morro Bay in July 2014 transcended anything we could have hoped for. Mike seemed to understand where the whales were going to be and was able to maneuver his small craft unbelievable close to them. In fact, we ended up in the middle of a pod of maybe 8 feeding whales. Forget the big boats. On Mike’s small boat, our party of 3 had a full-on view from every vantage point. Seven stars, 100%.
