Loved our stay here! A great boutique inn with 2 rooms. The rooms are HUGE — plenty of room for a couch(which is there, so you can sit and enjoy the view), it is almost like a studio apartment. Location is fabulous — the best diner ever downstairs and next door. A bakery under you(so you wake up to the smell of fresh baked pastries), and a huge picture window view of Morro bay and«the rock». The sunsets are incredible. My only complaint… Hmmmm, I can’t really come up with one ;-) Loved this place and hope to come back.

I am late in writing this review. My husband and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago. Great place! Beautiful room with a great view. Walking distance to the Rock and the embarcadero. I wish jets on the tub worked but that’s the only complaint. Will definitely stay here again!

Val is a genius! We happened to find this most beautiful boutique inn by accident! Our previous hotel had given away my hotel room and called Val if we could stay there instead. How lucky for us because Val’s hotel is just incredible. We stayed in the Big Sur room which had a large picturesque bay window featuring Morro Rock. Lovely fireplace, futon bead and King sized bed(I lost my husband @ night) –fortunately he was on the other side of the humongous bed! Super clean room, spacious, large bathroom and bathtub, quiet, near by treats– surf shop-Azhiaziam, French bakery(delicious aroma woke me up) and Frank and Lola’s breakfast(breakfast and lunch to die for) thank you Val– your kindness dissipated any negative energy the Blue Sail Inn gave me.

We’ve stayed at the Front Street Inn a few times and always love being there. First, the location is great, near the end of town almost opposite the rock, so the area is quiet when you’d like it to be, but has people strolling, jogging and hanging out the rest of the time. Second, the rooms: both rooms are on the second floor and very, very private(one has a separate entry). There are huge picture windows that look right out on the rock and the sunset, which was gorgeous last weekend(we also had surprise front row viewing of the boat parade through those windows). It’s kind of homey, with good photos hanging and good books on a shelf. The beds are comfortable and large and there are comfy sofas too, as well as a coffee/tea maker, mugs and wine glasses. Which brings me to third, nice spots to eat if you’d like to kick back right there: Stax, a wine bar with great tapas-type food is a block away; our favorite breakfast spot Frankie and Lola’s is only a few steps away, and for the REALLY lazy, there’s a bakery right next door. Fourth, and equal to all the rest, is customer service. They are very easy to reach, responsive to emails and always pleasant. I haven’t had any problems or complaints to make, but there is an after-hours number for help should you need it. Best of all, they care: I left my fleece vest there and was trying to think of the best way to send a pre-paid box or something, but Valerie told me it’s already in the mail! 5 stars, no question.
