Wasted my time stopping here, never got waited on, only 5 other people here when I went in and the two ladies at the one table ordered toast and never got it and couldn’t get anyone’s attention that cared to find out where their toast was. I was seen by one lady but she didn’t bother letting anyone know I was there. I gave up after a few minutes and left. I’ve been coming to This town a couple times a week and often looking to eat something but it will not be here in the future.

This exactly my kind of place I like to try. It is places with personality like this that makes them rise above any kind of chain. Came here once for breakfast and I was not disappointed by the hospitality or the food. The menu is not very large. You are absolutely not going to find any kind of frills on it at all. Although they sell your breakfast basics, They do what they do very well. There is a very very good possibility that you are going to thoroughly enjoy your breakfast

Went during Cruise Night due to overall Unilocal rating. Frankly, we were surprised. The food was OK(I think the corn was from a can) and service was friendly but slow(the place was not full). Dinner for two was less than $ 15.

Ate here on Saturday afternoon of the cruise night. Only 2 other tables filled… due to it being around 4 pm. Our waitress was friendly. The other waitress that brought out menus really wasn’t friendly. Food was fine. Nothing bad. Nothing exceptional.

What a charming café! It has the feel of an old time place where folks come to meet and catch up with each other. No TV’s blaring, just people hanging out, lots of chatter, warm hello’s and best of all… pie! Loved taking my family there!

The only thing amazing was that the waitress is still working at her age. Ribeye tasted like it had been sitting out for days. Shouldnt have ate it. Regretted that the next day. Not much on menu.

Nice old timey place. Good homemade food, freshly made pies. Nice change of pace from the cookie cutter restaurants we become accustomed to. Definitely will be back.

If you are looking for an amazing small town diner that does it right, you shouldn’t eat anywhere else in Morris. Great coffee, the owner makes the pies daily, and a wait staff with just the right amount of smile and sass to improve your day for sure. Skip the truck stop diner and make the trip to Liberty St. I go out of my way every time I am in the area to get here for a slice of pie and a Coffee. Can I give them six stars?

Havent been here in 5 years but always used to love it. Yesterday we stopped in for lunch and it was still fabulous! There was only one waitress on the floor and she worked the lunch customers like they were at her house. It was great. My sandwich was yummy as usual, fries were perfect and then me and my daughter shared a piece of pie. we were both almost full but you cant pass up their homeade pie. our total bill was only 16 $ Love that place!

This place is great. It’s been around since 1925, and has delicious home made pies. Food is great, but what makes this place fantastic is the warm welcome and the delightful conversation with the staff and fellow customers. Not a fancy place by any stretch, but definitely worth popping in.
