Just ok. Chili dog, onion rings and root beer. Scoop of ice cream. I don’t understand why so many great reviews. Nothing special. Not very clean inside. Wouldn’t recommend or return.

I was in Morris for business and Unilocaled for restaurants. The Bbq place was closed on Mondays so I ended up here. The lady was extremely nice and helpful to a Southern boy who didnt know what Italian Beef was… It was good! Also had the chili which was outstanding. A definite recommend!

First of all the pop is horrible because the water tastes nasty. the waitress was rude the day I was there because my son and I complained about the pop tasting funny. she would disappear for long streches there were only 2 tables seated so I guess we were not important. Food on the other hand was great. and these are the waitresses that complain they dont get tips… the 3 stars are for the food and the cleanliness of the resturant, the minus 2 stars is for the waitress…

Lindy Gertie’s is one of those fun little novelty places to eat at. Despite the outside ambiance (the strip mall it’s in really sucks), the inside is nice. Don’t let it fool you. Milkshakes are awesome, and they even have a veggie burger which pleasantly surprised me. Probably the only place in Morris with one… Definitely worth a visit.

My standby any time I am in Morris. They take extra care to ensure they always put out the highest quality product. They had a problem with a supplier one time I was there, and instead of getting the meat from somewhere else, the owner told me they had tried others and it wasn’t up to their standards so they would be out for a few days until their next delivery.
Make sure you get the beef and sausage combo or the gyro. And save room for ice cream.
