The food is subpar. I was told by a morning waitress that practically everything is microwaved and that is why it tastes like that. The waitress was acting like she either didn’t go to bed yet or was on drugs was more interested in joking with the other waitresses she could be heard when you couldn’t see her and seemed almost put out to refill our coffee or wait on us. I keep saying we won’t go back but then we still try thinking it can’t get any worse. Breakfast club will be meeting elsewhere

I don’t get it. How can an IHOP get less than four stars? It’s not like you go there expecting a four-​course French meal prepared by a Michelin star chef with a fine burgundy suggested by the resident sommelier. We go there and expect… well… a chain pancake house, and that’s exactly what we get, without fail. Sometimes the service is great (mostly it is) and sometimes not so great (having a bad day darling?). Eggs are eggs, pancakes are pancakes, a cup of coffee is… you get it. We have never had a bad meal there… at least not one bad enough to diss their entire existence. My suggestion is if you have a bad experience, give it another try. And remember:
It’s a f**king pancake house.

I understand that it is National Pancake day but service has been absolutely terrible. When the older woman asked what my friend and I wanted to drink she got an attitude with us, and she has not been back to our table since. It’s been about ten minutes and she is serving the other tables that got seated after us. I know it is a busy day but it is no excuse to ignore your guests. I work as a waitress and this would be absolutely unacceptable. If you can’t handle stressful situations then you should not be a server.

Hostess could barely be bothered to remove herself from leaning on the counter to seat us. After we were seated, which consisted of dropping the menu and walking away, she then walked directly to the server and very obviously said something to the server about us, because the server looked right us. As the server then approached the table, I told her she should tell the other one that she should make her comments about customers a bit more discretely. We got up and left. I’m not giving my money to a place that is so blatantly rude to customers.

The food is just plain awful. forget about the service, doesn’t matter because the food is nearly inedible. paprika on eggs benedict. hard boiled eggs on top of it. Apparently poaching an egg is to much to ask these days.

I brought my oldest daughter here for her «last meal» before having her baby. It was late, close to midnight. She ordered a salad and ½ BLT with no mayo. The lettuce in the salad was brown. It was disgusting. The sandwich had mayo. Major fail all the way around.

Food was okay, bur the service was not good. After our food came, we did not see the waitress until we were done eating.
