We have used this location occasionally for vacation rentals mostly because they have no local competition. I do sometimes drive out of town to rent from Hertz because I don’t feel as hassled by them and their rates are sometimes much cheaper. It is common in the industry, especially enterprise, for them to push their insurance on customers. Its just part of the racket. Normally«no» means no… During the paperwork for our last rental here, the manager was very pushy about it. I mean VERY pushy. He even pulled the«so you just want the basic $ 10/day coverage then.» After i said«no» three times. He directed our attention to a wrecked car on the lot, talked about hit and runs and chipped windshields and he called us «very brave». I mean, enough already. «No» means no Enterprise. I understand you make a lot of $ on insurance but Im not willing. The drive out of town for Hertz with their often lower rates, fast check in and out and low pressure is getting more attractive.

We were moving to Chicago and needed a last minute truck to haul some large furniture. Jon handled our rental. He was FANTASTIC. Jon even took extra time to get a truck that ran on E85 and had great gas mileage. BUTWAIT – THERE’S MORE! Coming back from Chicago, there was an accident on the expressway and I called to see how much it would be to book the truck for an additional day, since I knew there was NOWAY I’d be back by the 6pm closing time. He and Alex *I believe*, the manager allowed me to bring the truck back and drop the keys after hours and waive the additional day. I will CERTAINLY be a repeat customer!
