OK — the pizza is good but it’s only because the cheese is unusually buttery. BUTTHESUBSANDWRAPS??? GIVEME A BREAK!!! Love Tony’s Pizza! Jimmy and his crew are great. Pizza is great, love the spaghetti and salads! Also a fab Italian hero! Great vibe, great food and great people!

I wish it was better than it is since its so close by. The past three times I ordered from there, my order was messed up. For instance, tonight I ordered a chicken California sandwich and got a cheesesteak instead. Also, one time when I was paying for a $ 30 meal and the cashier added an extra 0 making it $ 300 that was charged to my card. They did reverse the charge but there are a lot of mistakes that happen there that could be avoided with the right employees. I doubt we will be ordering from there again.

Staff was friendly and food was good. On street parking can be a pain but a great place to grab some good italian food.

Tony’s serves pizza by the slice or by the pie. They also have a menu of typical Italian-American style entrees. I am a fan of their Veal Cutlet Parmigiana, which includes a side of pasta. I am a big fan of their pasta sauce — very tomatoey and sweet. They also have«Hero’s»(like we use to call them in Brooklyn). Now there’s no big deal about a hot hero sandwich — but again I love the way that Tony’s prepares them — a light crusted bread with sauce and cheese that melds together into a good bite(like meatball parm or veal parm.) My wife loves their Stromboli — the antipasta salad(small size) is enough for 2 people. Prices are reasonable, the place is clean and modern and there is plenty of free parking in the back. I have been going to Tonys for a long time — back to the days of the original Tony who I have fond memories of.

The reviews about service are unwarranted in my opinion, Jimmy is your average Jersey Joe, real good food and always says Hi!

A very basic pizza joint. The place was empty as a ghost town at lunch time during the week. That’s not usually a good sign. I ordered a meal that I get at another local pizza place because I was interested in comparing the two meals. Hands down, Tony’s does NOT win. It was a smaller portion and the way they serve the dressing on the side is super cheesy. They don’t put it in a little ceramic holder, they give you the packet of salad. It’s just not the way to do it. If I was flying in an airplane, then give me dressing packets, but not when I’m sitting at a restaurant with a wait staff. The price should have been less than it was also. Now that I know what it’s all about, I’ll stick with the places I already know and like very much.

Tony’s: Home of the Unseasoned Meatball OK, credit for that title goes to my husband. Everything we ordered was below average. The caesar salad was way overdressed. The penne vodka was way overcreamed and the sauce was bland. The meatballs in the spaghetti and meatballs entrée lacked any kind of seasoning. The spaghetti sauce tasted tinny. The pizza was just so-so. 1.5 stars. Disappointing.

Tony Pizza was owned by a older gentlemen name Tony he took so much pride taken care of his customers and the food was delicious. I went there every Saturday afternoon. In today Tony is own by some young person which I do not want t know. The food is horrible, the atmosphere is horrible dirty smelly, food looks horrible. I will never go their again. I miss the older Tony. Please skip this restaurant is no longer run by Tony. What a joke.

This is my favorite pizza place in Morris Plains. Last night had 2 slices with their caesar salad. The salad… the portion is HUGE with croutons, plenty of dressing(a rarity in today’s world)…I couldn’t finish. The pizza — a bit more sauce it could have used and it was a little dry. I thought the waitress service was very good. The waitresses were very nice, smiled a lot and brought the food out right away. Only thing was, the dishes came out one at a time, not all at once. Like I wrote before, this is my fav. place for pizza …

Tony’s pizza is awesome and I’m so happy they are in town. I’ve been going here for over 10 years. I don’t know about the other reviewers but Tony’s has the best pizza in jersey in my opinion. And their management and staff have always been great to me.

I’m coming back here to write another review simply because I go here all the time(very close location) and each and every time I’m off put by the customer service here. The attitudes, the way customers are spoken to, the entire situation. The guy who I assume to be the owner always acts like he’s bothered that you are there lol. And you should see them on busy days– so rude. Oh well.

The pizza and dinners are awesome, but the owner is a total D-Bag. Tony is rolling over in his grave watching this D__k run what took him years to build into the ground. The only thing keeping you in business is your pizza is awesome and Loveys and Primaveras pizza stinks.

Tony’s is a very average NJ-style pizzeria. Very thin, crispy crust, but with little chew and bite. Typical sauce-mostly bland and uninspiring. Cheese is flavorful without being overly greasy. My most recent visit to Tony’s I had a plain and a pepperoni-the pepperoni was sparse, too thin(to the point that it excessively curled when reheated) and overall flavorless. Inexpensive, yes, but inspiring, no. I had my slices at lunch time, and the counter staff were freaking out with three people in line.

Pasta sauce tasted like straight pizza sauce. Don’t know about the rest of the food because I’ll likely never try again.

Tonys pizza is out of this world good. It’s difficult for me to eat pizza anywhere else because my standards are so high. With this being said, I refuse to eat at Tonys anymore because the managers are beyond horrible. No customer service whatsoever. They had the coupons on the boxes: save 15 get one free or something like that. Every time you would get your free pizza a nasty attitude would accompany your pie. Best pizza I’ve ever had, but please stay away.
