I reached out to Clutter Crashers because I was intrigued by their system and approach to organizing. However the moment Ann Sedler arrived she began pushing the up sell. She couldn’t wait to walk me thru her binder of wealthy clients and the one or two mansions they have been in. Or to tell me about their service agreement with California Closets. She took no notice of the 10 year old cars in our driveway or the fact that our home is small. I asked if I could purchase any shelving or materials and assemble them myself to save on shopping, markup, and their «technician» charges. She got real icy after that. And the bid? $ 10,000 to do a midsize basement and a garage. Oh yes, and I forgot to mention, I paid for the experience. Oh yes, they won’t do the write up or estimate without a deposit. I can’t speak to the quality of their work or how it may have been to do a project with them because we never got out of contracting. Ann was always pushing us for money but never took the time to understand our needs, make us feel like she understood our situation, or for even a minute let us think we were business she wanted to win. She couldn’t even remember details from one conversation to the next. She was always calling to «clarify» something that wasn’t in writing. One of the worst experiences I have had with a vendor either professionally or personally. I would stay away until Joe finds a new face for his business.
