This is a great theater. With tickets only $ 5, reasonably priced popcorn, and best of all, no sitting through 20 minutes of obnoxious ADS before the movie starts, it’s the only place to go. They start the movies on time. Plus, before/​after the show you can walk to nearby restaurants and pubs.
I have no idea why people would drive to one of the big chain theaters on the outskirts of town, pay upwards of $ 9 a ticket, pay outrageous prices for snacks and then be forced to sit though almost a half hour of commericals and previews. Just say no and go to the Warner.

An awesome vintage theater that shows movies for reduced prices. It’s worth checking out just for the art deco theme of the place.

This is a great little theatre in Morgantown. I saw serveral movies here when I was going to school. The place is clean — the seats are comfy, the prices are good even when you are a starving college kid with no money. I wish they had been doing the Rocky Horror thing when I was there. Enjoy!

I love this place. Everyone else can have the newer theaters. This one holds a special place in my heart. I love the history of it… the feeling it has when you walk inside. And… total bonus for me, as Whitney mentioned… midnight Rocky Horror… absolute movie perfection in my book!

The Warner is a pretty good theatre. I like that they do show independent/​art movies but I wish they would show more! It’s also nice because sometimes they’ll show movies that have just went out of the other theaters and it’s a good place to catch them if you missed them.

The Warner Theatre is a welcome alternative to all of the chain movie theatres. It has been on High Street since the 1930s, and it plays an excellent mix of mainstream movies and the occasional art film (if there’s going to be an art film not shown at WVU, this is where you’re going to see it). An important fact: SEEING A MOVIE HERE ONLY COSTS FOUR DOLLARS. Best of all, what small college town would be complete without a movie theatre that does a midnight showing of Rocky Horror? The Warner Theatre is the best kind of relic, and the only place I’d ever see a movie in Morgantown.
