This was a great little find after coming to the Fairmont area for over a decade. I think I first saw this in WV Living magazine, and put it on my must try list. The shop had a so many options, both teas and accessories. It was busier than I thought it would be on a Tuesday but they were able to seat us right away. Our waiter(James) was great, really polite and nice. And I was please by how many tea service options that they had at varying price points. The vast amount of teas to choose from was almost overwhelming but it was great to try something new. The sandwiches were good. We had pumpkin scones(which didn’t taste great with the lemon curd that came with it, the clotted cream was good) The décor in the dinning room was a little mismatched with some older looking Victorian wall hangings and some more modern looking photos on canvass. And it was cool that that had a wall with hats if you wanted to get into character.

Met the friendly owner, Lisa, a while back. She’s passionate and knowledgeable about tea. This is the best source for loose leaf teas in the region. The front is all retail with a parlor in the back. Parlor is a great place to have a quick business meet with a unique beverage.

I’ve lived across from this little shop for years now and have just had the absolute pleasure of enjoying a wonderful cup of tea and tasteful lunch. This tea shoppe is an amazing hidden gem of Morgantown and deserves recognition with it’s huge selection of loose leaf teas and several lunch opportunities. ‘m so glad I finally got around to visit this place in the Seneca Center, because it has now become one of my favorite places.

Stopped in on a Monday at lunch while passing through town. Cute little place with very friendly staff. People already seated had availed themselves of the hat collection on the wall and were having a good time. Excellent variety of teas. At least 100 types. Menu consists of various full tea options and regular lunch menu(sandwiches, soup, quiche, and salads). Prices were reasonable. I had the afternoon tea for $ 14. The scones and pastries were ok, but most of the sandwiches were above average. Would definitely go back.

I stopped in here after hearing there was a loose-leaf tea shop right here in Morgantown. I’m a huge tea addict so I had to check it out. I was expecting them to have a couple jars, and a paper cup to-go service. Nope! They have a full sit down tea parlor, and their tea list is huge! They have all of the teas available to smell right up front, and all of it is available for purchase by the ounce. Now, I’m used to paying absurd prices for tea over the Internet, but four ounces of different teas and several samples only ran me $ 20! I will definitely return here again and again.
