Last year I had our home hard drive die. I work down the street from Data Recovery Systems so I walked over and dropped it off to see if they could recover it. They took an initial look and called me to discuss the options. I wouldn’t be charged unless they could actually get my data back which was nice. We proceeded and they were able to fully recover my files (mostly concerned with My Documents for pictures, etc). I then purchased a USB external hard drive from them which they put everything on and I was able to pick up from their office. Overall good service, and good communication to let me know progress and my options.

I had 4 HD crashes in my business. And these guys completely took care of me.
Even though I was a low level case (common home PC HDs), they gave me prompt service with excellent pricing that was less than several other quotes.
They had my computers up and running quickly. And in the worst case, where the HD was totally hosed, they still retrieved all the data, so I could put it onto the new HD.
I will definitely use them again.
