Jansooz Tailoring

After reading the good reviews I decided to give this place a try. I brought in 5 pairs of dress pants to have the length of the legs shortened. One pair were cuffed the other four were straight. On the pairs that had straight legs the sewing was uneven. On the pair that had the cuffed legs he asked if I wanted to keep them cuffed. I said yes if he was able to make the cuffs look right. He folded the pants back up so that the original crease of the cuff was visible and ran through the middle of the new cuffs. It looked horrible. I explained that it looked horrible and asked if he could just make it a straight leg like the rest. He charged me an addition $ 10 to fix the pants. Needless to say I will not be going back to this tailor.

Went in for a sizing and just blurted out numbers, but never gave us the actual size for jacket, pants, dress shirt, etc. won’t be coming here again.

I found Jansooz on Unilocal,and decided to give it a try — I had two pairs of pants that needed to be hemmed: a pair of black slacks and a pair of Joe’s jeans. The owner was a sweetheart (I love the old-​world service and warmness in the way he treated my BF and I). I stopped by late afternoon on a Friday, he measured me, and they were ready by Saturday morning. $ 20, and perfect fit. I was a little nervous because his English was minimal, but he did exactly what I asked. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Quick and inexpensive. Hemmed up my lady’s jeans just fine. Right in the front of Rio Rancho.

So, I went to Jansooz Tailoring because it had good reviews. My auntie needed 3 pairs of her pants hemmed. I get there and the fellow was asleep, his daughter woke him up saying «Papa, customer»
Ok. so, he was nice and said to come back in an hour to pick up the pants. and he accepts CASH Only. He was nice enough to let me pay when I came to pick it up.
So, a few hours later, I go back and pick up the pants, he seemed very nice and friendly. I thought to myself, wow, fast, friendly service and the price was good.
Later on that day, my aunt tries on her pants. and guess what… One of them was not right. One pant leg was shorter than the other. GREAT! Now, I gotta go back and have them fix it again. Its unfortunate, but hey $%^& happens, I guess. Or was it because they were rushing? Hmmm?
I wil most likely take it back today and have them fix it. Now, if they make me pay to fix their error. We are going to have a problem.

Could not be happier. Actually joined Unilocal to leave a review. Everyone needs a good tailor, and it is next to impossible to find one in an area with a lower than average concentration of professionals. So, I was thrilled to find Jansooz Tailoring.
So the location is not so great. A couple of weeks back my mom and uncle were killing some time and ended up exploring the Rio Rancho Super Mall on the corner of Perris and Sunnymead. They found a tailor while they were walking around, and my uncle who owns an overabundance of suits decided to talk to the owner. Apparently, he will custom make suits for around $ 300, but I don’t know about that. So, if you walk in the left entrance, his location is straight back to the right.
My mom and I decided to try this guy out with some formal dresses, because I was unimpressed with the last person I had shorten the sleves on one of my blazers. What can I say… wonderful job. We took in four formal dresses to be shortened — two charmeuse jersey, one satin with one layer of lining, and one lace with two layers of lining. The satin dress also had the bust taken in and straps shortened. He did a great job for the bargain basement price of $ 65 for all four.
He was also great about not overselling us. We had asked about weather one of the dresses needed something else done, and he advised that doing so would be a bad idea — even though he would have been paid for doing it.
Best of all… the four dresses were dropped off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and picked up at 10:00 am on Monday morning. He’ll do same day service on smaller orders. I dropped off a skirt to have the lining expanded ($ 5) and picked it up an hour later.

Work … Awesome
Service and Speed … Great
Price … Unbelievable
