The Cascade Grill

I ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese. It was great other than the very obvious FAKE lobster. There should be a law in New York that says that it is illegal to do that!!! Shame on you folks!!!

So we love Cascades. We like going thee by car. and we love going there by boat… Did we tell you it’s the only public bar/​restaurant on Owasco lake so you have no choice on where to go. But you need to know the following… First always go directly to the bar to get your drinks… (and if the weather is a bit cool stay right there…) If Emily is bartending you will be well taken care of… Second if you see table you would like to sit at, and the table has not been cleared. (and the chances are in won’t be), just clear and wipe down the table yourself … You have to do. what you have to do… Then first time a server comes into visual range you have to aggressively and call them over. if you don’t the chances your going to sit there forever… Getting the picture so far. (LOL)… And the food… well. be happy you have a nice view and a cold drink… Keep your expectations really low and you will be very happy… Did I also mention. once that first drink is gone, head to the bar again yourself, because chances are there won’t be a server in sight… So as you wrap up your experience, which has not been bad, the weather been great… your not at work, the bathrooms were really clean, the parking was free and or there was sufficient dockage for your boat… AND because you took control of the afternoon… Say to yourself. I like this place…
