I have been here a few times, and when I want to grab a beer locally, I will always come here. I live within walking distance of this place so it really is great having a bar so close, especially in the city of Moorpark where the city is asleep by 9pm. They have a good selection of beer, and other drinks and the prices are reasonable. They also have a menu with food, and I must say, the food is pretty great. I almost always order the fish and chips. It is always fresh, and the batter that they bread it in, is great! As far as customer service, every single bartender I have come across there is extremely friendly and helpful. They really treat you like family and it’s a great feel and different experience than going to some LA bar and being ignored. My only slight quam about this place is that if you don’t sit at the bar, and choose a table on a busy night, your service may be slow. I always try to sit at the bar, because if it’s a busy night, and I am at a table, refills and food ordering will be really delayed, because their main focus is of course the bar. Due to the quality of the employees working there, and the really enjoyable family like atmosphere, the delay in service won’t stop me from returning. It is a great little spot, I recommend it to anyone.

Great place for some comfort food. Service is much better than the previous owners and very friendly. Strongly recommend the fish and chips. I haven’t been there much after 8PM because I take my kids. From 6PM to 9PM it’s definitely family-friendly.

There’s been multiple owners of this spot and the new ones got it down! Food is incredible… Fish n chips, fish tacos, chili, salads, appetizers… Burgers… Seriously I love it all. Great place to hang and grab a drink. Awesome service… I bring my dog and sit on the patio, they bring him water and bacon. Seriously amazing !

This place is a joke! Same crappy service as mulligans. Walked in 5Pm on friday for dinner with my wife and son. There was 1 open table in the bar area and it had not been cleared. Stood there while 2 skanky looking waitresses walked by and just ignored us. Walked to the back where there was no one and im sure no service either. No sign of the so called great local owners. Will no be going back here EVER!

We ordered a couple pitchers of their«most popular» beer(which was delicious), some jalapeño bottle caps, some fried cheese curd, some pork rinds(which they make on premises), a patty melt, and some fish n chips. The service was friendly and on-point and everything was cooked perfectly. The fish n chips was the best I have ever had. There was no «fishy» taste at all, the fish was light and flakey, but moist, and the batter was light and crispy. I definitely recommend this place.

Decided to check this place out after a high school soccer match on a Friday night. Arrived around 8 and the place was almost full, so we grabbed two stools at the end of the bar. Waited quite some time to be noticed and then had to get the bartender’s attention to finally get some service. Things improved from there. Decent selection of beers, but they don’t have a beer menu/list. Simple limited menu with what you might expect from a bar/pub. bot our beer and food was good, the atmosphere great. A live musician on a fiddle, playing a variety of music, a shuffleboard table, and the obligatory dart board. Will definitely give it another try.

This place is just great. The entire staff is just awesome, they treat you like a friend/family member and that’s why we keep coming back. Don’t get me wrong, Brandon, Nina, Cc and Kelly can make you any drink you can think of but we come for the atmosphere and the people. If you get hungry while your having a drink, the kitchen makes the best food. Want great finger food? Try the chicken wings double cooked or their boneless wings made cajun style, they are both delicious. We can never pick between them so we always get both. Thursday’s and Saturdays they have Karaōke and that’s when it gets fun(embarrassing in my case). I like this place so much that I started coming down on Sunday’s to watch my Dallas Cowboys games. Give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

Great atmosphere. Love sitting or on the patio. Had small plates for dinner. Best fish tacos ever. Tried cheese curds for the first time. Better than mozzarella sticks. Jalapeño bottle caps. .good and spicy. Kevin, our server was very friendly and did a great job. Come on MOORPARK. Support a great new local business!!!

I love singing Karaōke at Lucky Fools. I have been doing it since it used to be Corrigans. The Saturday DJ Paul is awesome. The Thursday night DJ Lee sucks. Try to get there on Saturday

I have been here 3 times in the last 30 days, and let me say Moorpark needs this place! Great feel, very pubbish with the darts, shuffleboard and great bar. The servers are very friendly, but during one of my visits, I noticed the owners on site but they made no effort to meet the guests or chat things up a bit, lingered around the bar. My issue is with the food, very mediocre, would be easy enough to step it up a notch. Their fish and chips were ok, nothing to go out of your way for. Irish nachos, also ok, but I think traditional Mexican nachos would sell better. If I want a huge plate of fries, I’ll order fries. The Dragon Burger(I believe that was the name) had fried jalapeños, my wife gave that high marks. My hot wings were…(keep in mind, I am a hot wing affectionado, probably eaten 60 – 70,000 hot wings over the past 35 years!)…well, they weren’t good. Frozen, breaded, yuck sauce, start that recipe from scratch, guys! Lastly, we got 2 Reuben’s to go, the meat was fatty and what wasn’t fat was very tough. And you gave me fries instead of onion rings, as requested. Today, we are the fools, but a little work in the kitchen and Lucky Fools will shine, the customers will just be plain lucky!

I love what they did to this place. So much more inviting and cute inside than the other places it was before. Happy hour is great from 11am-7pm, like you can’t beat that. We ordered hot wings, garlic fries, and the hot dog wrapped in bacon with peppers and we all just fell in love. Amazing food and service can’t wait to come back! Woo!

I ordered the smashed chicken with a side salad. I was impressed to get a Colorful hearty salad(no white chunks ;-) and the chicken sandwich is Very tasty — grilled chicken breast, pesto and arugula on a ciabatta… yum! Not what I expected in an Irish Pub, but this tastefully updated version has a California flare that makes me want to put Moore Park on my regular list.

I had to get out of my house because I had workers coming over. It was around dinner time. I had to find a place that had an outside patio that could accommodate dogs. I reluctantly went to the only place in moorpark that I knew had a patio and served food. It used to be called Corrigans which was just a run down bar with a few regulars and a boring menu. I showed up and was totally surprised that it was a new restaurant, «Lucky fools» The place had a new atmosphere. It felt more homey, family oriented, and they got rid of the pool table that seemed to bring in the shadier characters. Long story short get the balsamic chicken sandwich. You will be shocked Moorpark is stepping up their game. Will definitely be back! Also. Nina is still here!

Fun and lively local pub — owned by a local family. Good food and great drinks. Lots of great music(live and not so live). Updated décor. Great place to sit outside.
