Dr. Patel got me in to see him the same day I called for treatment of a dry socket from a surgery a different oral surgeon performed. He was very informative and efficient. Would definitely recommend him!

My Orthodontist Dr. Bar Zion(shoutout to the best orthodontist ever!) referred me to get 6 teeth out with Dr. Patel. At first, I was extremely intimidated due to the fact that I had previously had quite the unpleasant experience with another oral surgeon a couple of years back(as you can tell I have a love affair with oral surgeons, dentists, and ortho’s) and swore I would never go back. Flash forward 7 years and there I am, sitting face to face with Dr. Patel telling me I need to get all four of my very twisted wisdoms out plus a possibly anchillosed tooth and its bottom half(because who’d want an uneven amount of teeth? Not I!) I hesitantly tell him that I’m worried over the anesthesia and he laughs it off telling me that’s the least of my worries! Hint, he was right! I just had my surgery done yesterday and I can tell you that albeit a very painful experience as we speak(by that I mean I cannot talk, I look like a chipmunk, and I can’t enjoy me a good burger) Dr. Patel and his staff were nothing short of wonderful! He took into consideration my extreme phobia of needles and numbed my arm before sedating me which I found extremely thoughtful. Not only that, but his nurse took the time to call me a couple of hours after to ask how I was. As soon as I complained of a headache, she swiftly called Dr. Patel who got in touch with me and made sure to explain to me exactly why I had such a headache(anesthesia side effect due to the fact that they had to crack bone, yes I have rebellious teeth!) and asked me to call if I did not feel better in a couple of hours, which I was surprised by because according to a previous review he was quite impersonal and distant which was not the case with me. Overall, I’d recommend Dr. Patel for any dental work which requires surgery to be done. Trust me, everything will be smooth sailing!(Even if afterwards you’re in pain and look like a chipmunk, it’s dental work after all folks!)

The family dentist was unable to remove the last of the 4 teeth that needed to be removed. On short notice, Dr Patel had the last tooth out painlessly and in quick order. He was calm and compassionate. He made the entire experience pleasant.

He removed my wisdom teeth in March 2013. Obviously there was pain after the anesthesia wore off. I was allergic to the pain meds he prescribed, so that sucked. He wasn’t very personal before or after the operation. I actually didn’t see him after the operation, and no one asked me if i wanted to keep my teeth or see them. He was very good at answering his phone when I had questions though.
