The Icing & The Cake

I ordered a cake for my daughter birthday and it was not only gorgeous but delicious. We will be ordering lots of cakes from here again! Fantastic cakes and great service!

I ordered a cake for my mom’s 60^th birthday party from The Icing & The Cake. They were able to customize it to what I wanted and make an absolutely beautiful cake! The baker/​owner was very friendly and easy to work with! Everyone at the party was asking where we found this beautiful and delicious cake! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful, custom cake for an event!

I’ve only had their red velvet cupcake ($ 3) and chocolate cake pop ($ 3). Both delicious and moist! The lady there was real nice too. The only reason I gave them 4 stars because it is slightly pricey for me. The cupcake was an ok price but I felt the cake pop was slightly over priced. My husband had the raspberry champagne cupcake which must have been amazing cuz he swallowed it!!!

Terrific product. Cake pops and cupcakes were excellent! Price is on par with other shops in area. Folks were very nice inside!

What a cute place!!! With cupcakes to die for-​gooey surprises in the middle and icing swirled so perfectly on top! First visit and definitely not the last!

Great cake, my only complaint is that the price isn’t all that competitive, I felt it was overpriced; however, the cake was beautiful and tasted great. The raspberry cake with chocolate hazelnut filling was pretty good.

Get this– tasty fondant! Who knew it was possible??? A mind boggling variety of flavors including pink champagne raspberry and the toe-​curling goodness of chocolate peanut butter. Mad skill sculpting cakes, hand painting, adding texture and working w/​the customer’s ideas. Friendly and easy collaborations & service. Cake balls are a bit pricey given their size, but when you just want ‘a little something decadent’, they hit the spot (also great as party favors). Overall, great product but you will pay for it, thus I’m only giving three stars. I don’t think she’s competitively priced for the area and I don’t think the prices are adjusted down for smaller cakes. Fondant doesn’t always = expensive so essentially, $ 10 per inch of cake diameter is a bit much (ie: 65 smackers for a six inch cake w/​barely any decoration).
