Excellent! My hubby(fiancé at the time) and I visited New Jersey back in April and got food at Maurizio’s. I ordered the chicken caesar salad and found it to be a large portion with excellent quality! The salad was very fresh and they were generous with the chicken portion! Wonderfully fresh dressing and cheese, as well. My fiancé ordered something of the Pizza variety and enjoyed it as well. The food was quick and we really appreciated that. We are big fans and would certainly visit again!

I love this place. I saw the comment from the person who felt the owners were disrespectful. I can’t imagine what she saw. The people who own this place are the nicest I’ve met. Maurizio has for years donated food to the various sports teams and charities in town. The food is not just good it’s very good. Always something interesting on the menu. Don’t miss an opportunity to have lunch or dinner here.

The owner here is incredibly disrespectful and impolite. Went into the restaurant and the way in which he was speaking to an employee was absolutely disgraceful, even claiming he was no longer going to pay minimum wage to the employee because she had«wasted his time». I informed the owner that I myself had worked in two restaurants and NEVER been spoken to like this by any manager. To which his response was that he was the owner, and then told me to «get out» because I had voiced my opinion. Know when you are coming here that you are supporting THIS type of treatment both to staff as well as potential customers such as myself. I will be letting everyone I know to steer clear of this establishment, I would never want to spend my money here and I will be further publicizing this encounter. Absolutely disgusting.

I love Maurizio’s. Delicious food, great atmosphere, and professional staff. Great for a quick slice or a nice sit down meal. If you’re on main street in Moorestown, this is the place to go!

We waited 30+ minutes after we ordered food. All we ordered was pancakes and a frittata. Ridiculous. It wasn’t busy at all.

The food is excellent ! Came back again after a bad experience with the service but this time my experience was totally different. The service was as good as the food. The staff was dressed very professional and very attentive to giving us the best possible service. The waiter was over the top with the service. This is a good example why a business deserves a second chance. I will defenattely come back !! I’m changing my rating to a 5 star

What a great night! The weather made the finding experience even better. I really enjoyed this meal tonight. I have been here for lunch before and I think dinner is the way to go. The server was friendly and helpful. She was attentive and in no way felt rushed here. My boyfriend and I probably could have sat outside until they closed. My dinner was delicious… I saw a lot of people have pizza around me and said it was delicious but my pasta was so good. Tortellini in a Gorgonzola sauce with chicken… Yum! I live in the town and it was nice to walk up and get seated right away. This will be in my black book for the future.

I have only had pizza and salad, but they both were very good. It’s a cool spot on main street and has parking on the side.

Everything is fresh and delicious. Seriously — drive away from the mall and come here.

This place is hit or miss. My family has ordered from here a few times this month(little urge to cook on our end). At first, the food was really good. I mean really good! But this week, it’s gone downhill. Ordered a cheesesteak, hardly any meat on it and a stale roll. Mom had the risotto, it was like soup. S/o ordered that chicken Marsala, dry as a bone. I’m hoping this was a bad week for them, but I’m really not happy with the food lately, which is sad cause I enjoyed their food so much.

I took my kids here tonight. In order to avoid the hungry stomach temper tantrums I pre-ordered the pizza and sat at a table outside(after asking if I could do this while I was ordering my pizza on the phone). Unbeknownst to me I was apparently not assigned a waiter or waitress. So when I asked for things like a fork or a napkin or salt-and-pepper, it started out fine but eventually I started getting this weird vibe. And ultimately it ended with one of the waitresses snapping at my kids and the waiter giving me the cold shoulder. The waitress told one of my children that her waitress«was inside». This in fact was the cashier, who was clueless to all of this and had no idea she was supposed to be waiting on us. OK, I get it. We paid for the pizza already so no tip involved. I would have been happy to pay the $ 2.80 tip to avoid the humiliation and antics. We’ve all been there before either waiting tables or tending bar. The only difference I can see is that I brought a bit more maturity to my experience. Fortunately there’s always Passareillo’s which is much more kid friendly. I agree with one of the other reviewers. Have a staff meeting and figure it out.

Came here for their breakfast. Frittata and omelette were amazing. Good service and great food. We sat outside under an umbrella on a beautiful day.

One of the newer restaurants on Main St. Maurizio’s sure is stirring up the competition for Italian food on Main Street. Their food is of good quality and they provide good service. They’re prompt with delivery and the food is good for catering(I ordered for them when I had family over). While the food is good, aside from their good outdoor eating options, they do not separate themselves too much from the competition. Their food is of good value and I would continue to come there.

This restaurant has become our neighborhood go-to Italian place. The food is always well prepared, delicious, and quite plentiful. The mushroom soup and wild mushroom risotto are amazing. The breads are homemade and excellent. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I would suggest a reservation on the weekends. All in all a great experience with terrific food.

Stopped by for dinner on a Sunday night. The weather was beautiful, so the outdoor seating was great. My son loved the pizza, and I had a burger special that night. Both the pizza and burger were fantastic. Will definitely go back.

Stopped in Saturday afternoon for lunch. Girl behind the counter mumbled to us that we could sit wherever we liked. Food wasn’t bad, but they forgot the sauce that was supposed to come with my tuna wrap & we waited a long time as we saw the over-worked lone waiter rush back & forth between the 2 rooms trying to attend to every guest. I felt bad for him so I didn’t bother him about the sauce. Meanwhile the girl behind the counter stood motionless for the entire hour we were there just staring into space with her mouth open. It was hard to watch. They need to have a staff meeting & work some things out, I think. You’re better off going up the street to Passariello’s. At least until Maurizio gets some help for that one poor waiter and/or trains the rest of the staff he currently has. When we left everybody ignored us. That’s one of my pet peeves, when the staff doesn’t say, «Goodbye, thanks for coming,» when you walk out. It makes you feel vaguely ashamed having eaten at the place. Would not recommend.

The outside is attractive but the seating area in this place is tight to the point of being a concern should there be an emergency. Servers have to hand the food over other diners’ heads to diners at other tables that the server can’t get to. The place needs a better layout. I’m not sure where many of the other reviewers ate but it’s hard to imagine this place being awarded 3 stars, let alone 5. Prices are stiff considering the menu. Sauces are soupy. Pasta was overcooked. The chicken wings themselves were overcooked but the«dipping sauce» was just awful. One wing in the«sauce» was all it took to throw the sauce away. Tasted worse than week-old used dishwater. I am not sure if the owner has eaten his own food lately.

Stopped in Maurizio’s the other day for a quick work lunch as we were in Moorestown. The place is very bright and clean with tables on the on side of the ovens and kitchen and also a small dining room in the back. Maurizio’s has a pretty typical Italian pizzaria type of menu. They have pizza, hot and cold hoagies, Panninis, burgers, wraps and pasta dishes. It is a very big menu. We had the meatball parm hoagie and the chicken Masala. The bread on the meatball parm was toasted perfectly and the cheese was melted nicely. It was a solid sandwich especially on a cold day. The chicken Masala was also cooked nicely and came with excellent roasted potatoes. All of the ingredients tasted of quality. The chicken Masala was a bit pricey at $ 16.99 and only came with bread,(which they forgot but that was OK because the portions were fairly massive). Soup or salad are all extra for an additional $ 2.99. Maurizio’s earns 3.5 star from this Unilocaler.

The food here is wonderful. I’ve had both great salads and Italian dinners. Try the chickpea salad.

Real happy with first time visit. Party of 12 didn’t faze them in the slightest. Sal our waiter was outstanding. Food was delicious. Crème Brûlée tort for desert was amazing. We will certainly be back, probably just two of us next time. It’s great to see Maurizzio succeeding with this new venture. BYOB makes it even better.
