How disappointing to see a business owner attempt to disparage a former client, rather than own up to his firm’s shortcomings and offer to try to make things right. As the director of information of the academic non-profit association that was bilked out of $ 15k by Generate Design, I certainly have not been removed from this project. Rather, I’ve put dozens of hours into eliminating hard-coded errors from the source code created by Generate Design, and we have now contracted a professional firm to rebuild the website. The fact that the owner thinks the website looks good and functions properly now is a sign that he has no idea how to develop cutting-edge websites that are compatible with today’s software and hardware standards. I’d be happy to upload a series of screenshots with all of the errors and flawed code from Generate Design. We just received from our new designers a good modern logo, and will be relaunching our website with a logical structure, much improved look and feel, and mobile-first design in the next several weeks. I had given the firm two stars, because the designer did provide a few icons that I like. However, since Paul chose antagonism rather than trying to make amends, I’ve amended my rating down a star.
