Didn’t want to pay the exorbitant amount for lunch at Indiana Beach, so figured we’d head out for lunch in search of a dollar menu. We were going to go to the BK across the street but figured a buffet was worth the extra few bucks to keep us fuller longer(2 adults and 2 kids – 3 and 8). Should’ve gone to BK and saved $ 10. The only food my daughters would eat were a couple pieces of the sweet and sour chicken(not the sauce). The food that wasn’t fried was VERY slimy and fatty tasting. The food that was fried was pretty bland(minus the chicken wings… I’d say those were the best food item.). Place was clean and quiet, so that counts for something. This place did however have a pretty extensive take-out menu. I’m sure that food is great!

Food was good, just wish they had a bigger selection of items. We came around 3:00 on a Sunday and there were not too many people in the restaurant. I enjoyed the hot and sour soup.

Typical Chinese buffet. A good variety but nothing special. Nice stop for a quick lunch.

Everything was just too sweet, and that’s pretty unusual considering Chinese buffets have a tendency to make everything too salty so you eat more rice and drink more water and not consume as much meat. The presentation and selection was nicer and larger than Overseas Chinese Restaurant, and the interior is much nicer and newer, but it doesn’t count for much, if you don’t like the food.
