So far… My checkin experience was 100+++ Online reservation, Alice’s personal attention, cleanliness, politeness, everything. I have arrived at 10min to 9pm with the truck loaded with big items, and I thought we will quickly unload and leave in 15 min, or at 9:10pm. We were surprised to see that the gate would not open. The phone listed on the gate would not answer, nobody seemed to be present on property, it looked totally abandoned! We honked the car, knocked politely on closed doors, no sign of attention, or Ms. Megan. We ended up leaving the open Uhaul truck unattanded on the nearest parking lot, drove 140 miles to our new home in NYC, came back next day, another 140 miles, gas, U-haul fees, etc, etc. I hope that my 4*** rating — based on Alice’s professionalism and wonderful attitude — will be justified, and my family and I will not remove those stars. I have had a locker here for 18 months now. In those 18 months they have raised my rate by $ 203 separate times. I used to be paying $ 100, and am now paying $ 160. This would all be fine and dandy if this was the current market rate, but it is not. The current market rate can be found on their site for $ 120. So they make a living off of you having your stuff in there, and then raising the rates whenever they want to force you to deal with it, or hire movers to move everything out to save money again. They won’t honor whatever rate is online, I’m stuck with my inflated«customer loyalty» tax. Way to treat your existing paying customers.
