Looking for fancy surroundings and patrons who get upset if two vegetables on the plate are touching? Don’t come here. If you like good old-​fashioned bars with kickass kitchens and people who make you feel at home whether you’re in jeans or a suit, this is the place.
For food, there’s a standard menu. Haven’t found anything I don’t like yet. They also do specials now and then. Come on down and give The Shack a try.

Great food. Always something new to try. Great specials ran everyday. This is a very good place to eat some true made to order food.
All veggies are great. As a meatloaf hater, I loved theirs. Not one thing on their menu is not worth passing over. Just pick out something and enjoy. 5 stars on their food.
Why 3 star review? Atmosphere is a bar. Enough said. A little hole in the wall with fantastic food.
You can order to go or sit down. Just beware of the language.

Smoky… sticky floors… the patrons are suspect… the music comes from a juke box… and there are pool tables in the corner… a true dive!
I hate cigarette smoke, and The Love Shack is grimy, but I ADORE this place. I have been coming here since I was 21, and I consistently have a good time. This is a place where you can’t come in expecting the best. Actually, expect the worst, and be pleasantly surprised. The drinks are insanely cheap, and you will find yourself singing old hits with bikers, gangsters, conservatives, «hood rats», and classy ladies. It is truly a judgement– free zone in here.
The drinks are insanely cheap, but the food is awesome. Yes, the food is great! I order the veggie plate, and I am madly in love with the pineapple– walnut salad. The fired okra and green been casseroles are hits as well. I know many people who rave about the rib basket.
After 1:00 am, this place is one of my favorite places to get food. It is a divey, «hole in the wall» joint that delivers a good southern hospitality with cheap drinks and great food!

I have SO much fun here!!! Morning noon or night there is good food good drinks and probably interesting company. The bartenders always take care of you and the guy in the back makes a kick butt grill cheese. The shack is a really laid back place, just come as you are and have a really great time!

The Love Shack is open 24 hours a day!!! They close for like 8 hours on Sunday & that’s it! This place is a complete dive bar. If you are looking for frills, this IS NOT IT! The drinks are great and well priced. They have amazing food & amazing prices. My favorite is the 4 ribs, crinkle fry & Texas toast meal for $ 5.00…YUMMY!
It is dark inside as the windows are tinted… the sun is coming up before you know it! They only lose a star because of the music :(There is only a jukebox, but be assured there are lots of great 80’s songs that inspire spontaneous sing-​a-​longs! This place is definitely for the hardcore, nonjudgmental type of folks… the regulars are your business people to your bar flies. It is a smoke friendly place and they add $ 2.00 to all to go orders.
