Montecito Rental

I met Crysta Metzger through a mutual friend and we talked about my property at dinner. The next day she took pictures, as she had offered the night before and set up a web site for my rental home. She kept it rented for some time, then we listed it with her for sale. Not only did she sell the house but she found my current home and has kept it rented.
She has always made me feel secure knowing she had the best clients for the property. She has always followed through on every detail and I consider myself fortunate to work with her and Montecito Rentals.

You will not find a more kind person than Crysta Metzger to work with. We are very happy with the lovely home she found for us. Clean, spacious and very quiet, safe neighborhood. She connected us with many local necessities and is coordinated with wonderful service people. She stood by us through some problems with the house that needed fixing and made sure everything was to our satisfaction.

I first stumbled upon Montecito Rentals looking for a weekend rental for some friends coming to town. I spoke with Crysta and she didn’t have anything available on my short notice, but was so pleasant that we made arrangements for a week later in the year when we had a bunch of people coming to town for a weeding. It was the perfect rental, downtown and was way above our expectations.

We had a great experience with Montecito Rental. It was pretty simple– we wanted a decent place near the beach, at a reasonable price. What we got was WAY better than expected. Such a beautiful home, and it was only a couple blocks from a great beach. The other homes on the site are stunning too; I’m truly amazed at some of these homes.
Anyway, it was a great weekend, and booking and check-​in/​out were dead simple. We’ll certainly use them again if we’re in the area.

We were looking for a rental home and ran across Crysta’s website. Good luck trying to get her to be consistently responsive. When we found a property we were interested in renting, she knew our dates and rate and said she’d confirm with the owner. We thought it was done deal. The next email said the owner couldn’t do these dates (we thought she already gave them our dates). We were disappointed. The next day she sends an email telling us we could book the original property b/​c the other people fell through. So it seemed she had us competing with the other folks… not professional and not good relations. We would also leave vms on her cell and she took more than 48 hours to return our calls. With this economy, I would look elsewhere for a more professional real estate agent who cares about their clients and really does want to help find vacation rentals in SB. I would work with someone who is more professional and responsive. It was frustrating trying to work with Crysta though she does have nice properties.
