Delicious food and great service. I had the Chicken Fettucine Alfredo and it was delicious. My beautiful wife had the Chicken Penne Pesto and it was really good. Service was excellent and our waiter was very entertaining. The restaurant was mostly empty and had very nice décor.

The food was delicious. The prices are reasonable and the service was great. Good food and just a few blocks from home. You can’t beat that. I totally recommend you try the pesto pasta with chicken. It was to die for.

I’m so glad I checked this place out. Started out with the bruschetta– which was a little lacking. I think it needed some oil or maybe some cheese, because it seemed to me like just a bunch of tomatoes on toasted bread. It wasn’t bad, mind you, but just not what I was used you. I got home and went through the pictures on Unilocal, and the picture of the bruschetta was not what I got. But, in their favor, I did get a lot of ripe tomatoes that were tasty and I needed the licopene. I was blown away by the arabbiata. I don’t care for shrimp, so Henry let me substitute chicken instead of and knocked off two dollars. Sweet. It was the best arabbiata I have ever had in my life! Spicy, yet not too spicy and big chunks of chicken. I could barely hold myself back so I could have a little bit for tomorrow’s lunch. Oh yeah, he also made me peach iced tea! So happy. I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Last time I was here we had really awesome pizza & a delicious spinach chicken salad. The service was awesome! We asked for Italian sodas & though it wasn’t on the menu they accommodated. The flavor I picked was raspberry-mango. My cousin had the veggie pasta & it looked really GOOD. I would so order that in the future!

Visited for the first time on Friday 2÷5÷2016. A neighbor had highly recommended the place and they didn’t disappoint. Had the lasagna, and it is exactly the way I love it. Huge portions too. My love ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, and unlike most places that give you only two meatballs they gave her 4. Very good prices too.

Second time ordering delivery and I am truly disappointed. Had to order delivery and since I enjoyed the delivery the first time I figured why not… Bad idea the lasagna tastes different, the online didn’t specify the type of salad so I got a Cesar, don’t like Cesar salad and the soda didn’t taste like Coke. It tasted very blah and it ended up down the drain. I’m out $ 25 bucks but I’ve learned my lesson. Stop ordering food and cook my own

We had a delicious dinner here. We were here about 2 weeks ago and the dinner tonight was just as great. We’ve had the chicken Alfredo, lasagna, carbonara, 4 cheese ravioli with shrimp and the penne arrabiata. The portions are very filling and all were delicious. They even brought my son a special dessert for his birthday. We will definitely be back!

My boyfriend took me to this restaurant in hope to get some good lasagna pasta after a long day and I have to say the food was absolutely delicious along with a very polished service! The ambient itself was also very soothing and comfortable. Couldn’t have been more pleased with the overall experience and will highly recommend it to someone looking for worthwhile food and service. People there were very welcoming and right on task with food orders which is always a great thing!

My girlfriend had the cravings for pasta so I looked up a nearby Italian restaurant. This one had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was the best. quiet clean and very attentive server… the service was the best I have had in a while and we dine out A LOT so i must say that the service was great, the food was as great as the service. we had the meaty lasagna spit in half because portions are very generous… I recommend to come in with a party of four people or more to get special discounts on food…

Downgrading my review from two starts to ONE. I decided to give them another chance since i was ordering food early(5pm) before the dinner rush, and normally I order around 7. Nope, ORDERCANCELLED, but 20 minutes after I made it. This is the third time in a row. They are still advertising on GrubHub and Eat24 as being able to take orders, but they are cancelling them as soon as they come in. And now, there’s a hold on my account for the money for the food. I’m done giving them second chances. THIRDSTRIKEYOU’REOUT.

Had the penne with pesto. It came with fresly made bread and lentil soup. Loved it. The place was empty wish seems kind of odd but the food was delicious. The service was 5 star. The only reason it didnt get 5 stars, the prices are a bit high. But like i said, its good food so keep that in mind.

I must say it was quite a surprise. My husband saw this restaurant while buying uniforms for our boys across the street. He noticed it was a new restaurant. I checked Unilocal for the reviews and they were great. It was my husband and our two boys. I do agree with the Unilocal reviews. We started with the bread and bruschetta, both were great. For appetizer we did the calamari. We were all over it. My 3 year old couldn’t get enough. I really liked it. If you like salmon a must is the Salmon Champagne. Salmon and veggies are incredible. Penne Arrabiata had a perfect taste if you like a little spicy it’s a must. The four cheese ravioli with shrimp was so good. For kids don’t fall for the menu section, just request anything on the menu at a kids portion. They will happily do it. Aurora was a fabulous host/waitress. She took care of us. It’s a new restaurant and they are waiting for their liquor license so please be patient. Apparently it’s taking longer because they are close to a school. For wine drinkers like me drink ahead. Give it a try.

On a Sunday evening my daughter and I looking for a nice dinner. I’ve been wanting to try this place and we both love Italian. We ordered chicken Alfredo and lasagna, both came with salad, we had Cesar salad and garden salad both were fresh with just the right amount of dressing. We were brought warn bread while we waited. It took about 20min. For our food to arrive, the meal was delish. The lasagna had lots of meat sauce, and the chicken Alfredo came with large pieces of juicy chicken. Our waitress was so sweet and cute we loved her. We will definitely be coming back.

A family member came into town and wanted to try some authentic Italian cuisine. Naturally, I searched on Unilocal and found this place. When we arrived, it was a quaint atmosphere — pretty quiet and not busy. The place seemed inviting enough, so we were sat down and our waiter greeted us. The waiter(waitress) was friendly and took our orders quickly. It was immediately obvious that she was either new to the food service industry, or she wasn’t familiar with the menu at all. There were multiple hiccups as we were repeatedly told that some items weren’t available(sirloin steak, any soup other than cream of mushroom). In any case, we ordered our food with some appetizers. The appetizers were good enough to keep our appetites in check while we waited for the main course. It took a total of 43 minutes from ordering to receiving the food. To make matters worse, my prime rib felt like it was cooked from frozen, not giving it time to thaw. Not a good feeling. All in all, I’d give the waitress 3.5÷5 stars and the food 2.5÷5.

Another cursed corner in Montebello! Broccoli soup was more like pea soup with lots of pepper. Garlic appetizing bread was burnt, kids pizza half burnt, chicken carbonara should be named pepper chicken angel pasta. Way tooooo much pepper on the chicken carbonara as a way to add flavor. Sad that this is how our food came out because I really like trying new places especially when in Montebello. Definitely want this place to thrive but flavor needs to be added differently rather than basking in pepper and turning the oven way up. Pictures to prove it. Seen the reviews but our experience was different. Salad and service was good. Until next business on this corner.

I rarely review, but on this occasion I must. I am a big Italian lover and when you live in Monterey Park you are limited to Pizza or some sort of interpretation of Italian at a(insert Asian restaurant name here) noodle joint. So in my quest to find some Italian I found(thanks to Unilocal) Sapore Ricco. Don’t let the neighborhood, exterior and interior of this place fool you. When you walk in, there is a sense of skepticism due to the efforts of trying to make it feel an upscale place, but once you put the first bite in your mouth all doubt blissfully disappears with the flavors of little Italy rolling in your pallet. I ordered the Penne Pesto and all I have to say is WOW!!! The creamy richness of pine nuts and basil slowly marinating a perfectly cooked pasta was simply delicious. And when I say perfectly cooked pasta, I mean the pasta is soft and tender but yet robust to the bite. The Tuscany soup was also perfectly cooked and full of flavor. On the downside their house garlic bread, well to put it nicely its bolillo with butter. Other than that, for the location of this place I will gladly give it a 4.5. Sopare Rico just received a new customer.

3.499 stars: Service gets 4 stars, food gets 3. Their sidewalk sign drew us in as it advertised AYCE soup and salad lunch/early dinner. Once we were in, we decided to get a few dishes instead of going for the other option. Definitely next time. Disappointed that a couple of items listed on the menu weren’t available during our visit. Ended up ordering the calamari, house salad, lasagna, and chicken marsala. Next time, I’ll ask for the Italian dressing for the salad on the side. The other dishes were are well and good, just needed some tweaking for my own palate. No big deal, everyone’s different. The lovely waitress brought out cheese and peppers to customize them, as needed. What really impressed me was the bread: Very nicely seasoned and grilled. Overall, it’s a nice addition to the neighborhood. Service was very attentive and welcoming. I don’t believe they have beer or wine options, since they weren’t listed on the menu. Kind of a bummer because it’s nice to have that option with Italian. Probably not their fault due to licensing laws. It’s also kind of warm inside, especially during these summer months, and could benefit with some more AC. I do look forward to revisiting soon for other options, as their sandwiches sound pretty tasty. Mangia!
