I was going thru yet another custody battle with my sons mother (we had one a few years back) and now I wanted more time with my son. We had fought a few times in the past and the only winners were the lawyers — my previous lawyers bills had exceeded 50k and left me broke… my Ex’s bill was also well over 50k. Some layers love the fight and to rack up the bill, every call they make and email they write they charge for. This is not the case with Mr Lepe. He is a straight shooter and tries to cut to the chase and not get tangled up in all the back and forth. He will give you a flat rate, for writing up statements, filling paperwork and a visit to court. We were in court twice and he wrote and filed a load of paperwork on my behalf. He managed to get my Ex’s lawyers to agree to most of our terms and we gave on a few points. In total it cost me $ 3000. Unbelievably reasonable. I highly recommend him. I would say that if you are looking for a tough aggressive attorney who wants to fight then Mr Lepe is probably not your guy. However I had that in the past and all i got out of it was a massive bill !

He basically assured me that kids would get an every other weekend visit with their father not ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ and spend most of their time with me (mother). After seeing the judge it didn’t go as promised by Javier Lepe. Javier Lepe basically took my $ 2500. If he would have told me its a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ shot at it, I would have kept my money and not been represented by him. He made it seem like a piece of cake But now I see why. He wanted to assure the $ 2500. Mind you $ 2500 to me is a whole lot being a single mother and not receiving any child support. I completely regret hiring him. He was no help what so ever. However, he did make it seem like he was this well known big shot family lawyer and not is definitely not the case. His only answer was «I’m sorry you feel that way» «I did my job» Really ??? He did nothing for me.
