I agree, this library needs updating. I hope that the new hours and changes will help bring newer resources & aesthetic warmness. Despite my complaints, it’s really nice to see the community really enjoying their time here. They have great customer service! Because it’s a County Library, they try really hard to source from others to find what you need.

Woohoo! Did you see their new hours? Just like how it used to be. This library is small and simple. A few things are outdated but this library tries so hard to make sure people get what they need. Especially when you need a book, they put it on hold as quickly as possible. The staff are friendly and consistent which is nice because it begins to feel like home. Also, they have a great summer program for kids which encourages children to read especially with their parents.

The hours blow! too forward I know but these budget cuts are lame. I really enjoy the library. I just don’t like that it’s open every other day.

This library is old and outdated. I’m surprised in all my years of coming here that there hasn’t been any remodeling done. It’s a shame the city of montebello doesn’t care about their library.

I am a fan of this library. A big fan! From the days when I was young when I printed out Dragon Ball Z pictures to put on my wall to now when I go there to read books in a very peaceful environment. The Library has a very large collection of almost any major work. If not, they are part of LA county library systems so they will take care of you one way or another. They have computers, a large section of Asian publications(Chinese, Pacific Island, and Japanese) and also an Armenian section. There are also plenty of books in Spanish. Definitely one of Montebello’s gems.
