Be careful for expired food. I went today(Friday) and almost bought yogurt that expired this past Monday. Check the dates! Otherwise, this location seems to have the same variety as most other staters.

So disappointed in this location. The customer service her is non-existent! I grew up in this area and rarely shopped here. Now I know why. The product knowledge and lack of concern when I asked the cashier Stephanie today was underwhelming. I asked for Chinese Chile paste, ’ that would be our Chino stores’ the demographics are more suited for those areas, not ours. So then I said star anise? Again Stephanie said that since we are a small store we don’t have the room for everything. So then I told her if the produce department threw out all the moldy product maybe there would be more room. It’s 2 days before a major grocery holiday and the produce is old and moldy. I’m shocked!!! Stephanie needs to quit making excuses and emphathize just a smidge… Sorry Stater’s this location needs attention!

My wife buys most of grocerys from this stater brother about $ 500.00 a mth witch i will stop, because of a staff member and the store manager jim s, you see every morning i all ways stop to get some supply to get me thru my day at work before i get on the freeway, i been doing this for mths then i ran into one of the bad employees and only one check open i have no choice because they are only concern about their daily task and not the customers, she(the cashier) notice that i may be I may be i a hurry becaue of ther long line, so she rang my transaction up very slowly in order to slow me down, i put my hands out so she can hand me my receipt she just went bipolar on me accusing me of pointing at her and some other dum sh****t so i ask for a manager the store manager i vented my frustration after talking with him i felt that he was professionial enough to adress the sitiuation explaining to him that each customer have a choice and i have to spend my money with stater bros * on monday i went back to the store and i got stuck in the same check out and as soon has i got up to this same cashier she call over to her co –worker to stand by her i felt so uncomfortable so i turn around and walk over to the store manager and he was like why was that wrong? the apple does not fasll too for from the tree. The culture in your line of buisness should be about customers and when your employees \ manger have complex issues i should not allowed in the workplace and if properly addressed should not be allowed to continue. keep it and your customer count will drop and you will go out of buisness and guess what i will STILL get my GROCERY, CHEAPERPRICESANDBETTERCUSTOMERSERVICEBECAUSE I HAVECHOICES

The store itself is OK, I don’t appreciate the very aggressive pan handlers in the parking lot. Every time I have been there I get approached by some meth head with rotten teeth who smells terrible, it kind of takes away from the shopping experience.

This place is awesome the workers here are amazing I usually get my salads for work from here at 6:30 am and their workers are lovely even at that time this is why I keep on returning here. The isles are very nicely kept up with my salads are always fresh I have no complaints what so ever regarding this stater brothers, its a keeper.

This is my local store. I had shopped Vons for decades. Move here and this is very convenient. I do miss the better quality of the Vons hot food. They do have some things better than Vons in their produce section. Selection in meats is okay but could use more fresh fish. Bakery section is good but could use more healthy stuff in there. But overall it gets me what I need a very good prices for about 90% of the time. Overall nice people working there with good attitudes.

I go here all the time since I live around the corner. I was disappointed tonight when the checker was on the phone with a friend… Very unprofessional. He didn’t even ask for my ID when I bought alcohol. He had already scanned it when I showed him my ID. It was disappointing that they allowed someone to be on their cell phone while checking out customers. UNPROFESSIONAL!

The 2 ½ stars this Stater Brothers current has troubles me. The service here is great. Like all grocery stores, restaurants, etc., there are a few«bad» employees, but, overall, the employees are all great. The majority of the employees here are on the younger side(early to late twenties) but they are very nice. The produce does tend to expire quicker than say Vons or Albertson’s(when there was an Albertson’s in town), but the produce is also cheaper(duh). Don’t overbuy produce and it’ll last long enough for you to eat it(at least a week at worst, at best, a week and a half). I’ve ordered a variety of fresh meats from the butcher’s counter and have never had a bad experience with the meat turning bad immediately after. I’ve purchased ground beer, New York strips, beef stew meat, pork shoulder, chicken and more, and have never had an issue(but, I always cook what I buy within a day or so, but that’s not because I don’t think the meat is fresh, it’s just how I like to cook: as fresh as possible). Just last night, an elderly woman was having difficulty figuring out the ATM controls and the bagging clerk assisted her(speaking in Spanish since the register operator didn’t speak Spanish). They always ask you if you’d like help out to your vehicle.

Produce I buy here goes bad 1 – 2 days later. I always have to keep an eye on the register during check out because their computer always«misses» a sale item and charges me full price. Its kind of cheap but not if you don’t get the sale price! They are known for their meat department but honestly I don’t think it is that special

I started coming here after albertsons closed. love that it’s close to my place. The store is easy to navigate and well organized. The service is always friendly. Mornings seen to be the best time to shop. It is not so crowed.

I had a bad experience with the cashiers at this store. I use to come here all the time but the last few times I went I got very rude service so I stopped and haven’t been back since. I do my grocery shopping at Target now.

Be careful when purchasing meat from here because the top may look appealing but the bottom is brown, old and smelly.

My serious advice for you all would be to check your local ads. I usually only come here when there are amazing deals, which appears more frequently than many would think. I love me my hot cheetos and they’re usually on sale for $ 1.49 or $ 1.99 here. Not to mention, each week they have different alcohol on sale as well. CHECKYOURADSFOLK. And since they’ve remodeled the store it seems much more spacious than usual. Another side note, if you’re an alumni at Montclair High School, coming to this grocery store is like attending a reunion. You’re always going to run into someone you know.

Oh man. The cashiers are either really rude and ignore everyone, or they take their sweet time ringing up the person I front of you, having a full length conversation. Completely crappy both way but it especially sucks that their is only two people in the express lane and it takes a cashier 10 minutes to get to the second person cause she’s talking with the bagged or yelling to the cashier in the lane next to her. Completely unprofessional.

I love Stater Bros markets & this one is one of the nicer kept stores. Its maintained very well, very clean, & carries alot if not everything you were looking for at a grocery store. You can tell the manager does a great job of keeping their employees in order. Only thing id like to see change is their prices for produce bc I will not pay $ 1.59 for a lb. of apples. :(

I was going to visit a friend at his newly purchased home and didn’t want to arrive empty handed. I wasn’t familiar with the area so I drove around a couple of blocks until I found this market. The store is large with lots of stuff. It does look a little old and rundown. I decided to grab a bottle of wine. The labels are so confusing. There are like 4 different prices for each item. I ended up paying $ 12 for a bottle of red. The wait was a little long at check out and the employees weren’t very friendly.
