My husband walked in, picked the dress off the mannequin, and bought it for my daughter, whos prom is next week! Everything in Ruby is beautiful, and the staff is wonderful, and so accomodating.

Ruby is red hot. Unlike most of the other boutiques in the area, Ruby’s merchandise is dazzlingly well-​edited; the shop caters to its customer, but at the same time introduces new flavors that are at once striking and totally palatable.
Although the visual merchandising in the storefront is hit or miss, there are always treasures to behold inside. On an impromptu Saturday walk-​through, I convinced my mom to buy a Susanna Monaco shift that will get lots of mileage this fall. The dangerous wall of denim is home to J Brand, Joe’s, Citizens, and every other lust-​worthy denim line out there, in more cuts than you knew existed. To boot, the sales girls are truly marvelous– and I’m not just saying so because they always mistake whatever middle market knock-​off I’m rocking for its more glamourous, real deal cousin. They’re welcoming and helpful and contribute to what is always a pleasant visit.
Where local boutiques are concerned, I’ve spent more money in this place per piece than anywhere else, but the Gucci family motto is my mantra: quality will be remembered long after price is forgotten.
At Ruby, quality doesn’t begin and end with the merchandise, but extends to the entire shopping experience.
