We had a great time here ! oOur server tonight was Joseph V who was an awesome server and tended to our every need. He made the experience amazing. Will definitely return :)

Only maybe 5 parties total in the entire restaurant on Saturday during lunch… took forever without even bringing drinks to the table after prompt order…

From the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left, service was almost flawless! Since the parking lot was pretty full, I asked my husband go ahead of me and check to see how long the wait was. When I got there he had asked for a table rather than a booth and she said we have a table booth combo and if that was ok. Perfect we said then we were taken back immediately, no wait. Waitress was prompt, friendly and helpful as was every other staff person we came in contact with. They even asked us if we were there for a special occasion.(we were, date night ;-)) Customer service was the way it should be. There was just a small amount of lag after we got our meal, when we needed a few things. They usually ask and the person that delivered our meal didn’t. So, for a little bit of time, staff was scarce, hence the 4 stars. I was impressed overall and glad we decided to go back after so long.

I cant believe the service of this place, i come into eat lunch by myself. So instead of waiting for a table I sit at the bar looking at the menu. I mean it’s lunch time yet everyone else in the bar gets served but me. I guess my name is skip. I made eye contact with the bartender and hes looking at me like I popped his sister cherry with out calling her back. I was well dressed and I pay in cash, and im a good tipper. Instead of being friendly when I walked in, it was almost as they smelt shit. I can say I will never be back to any red lobster. For one this is a racist place what I can’t be mexican and have money. Shit i work and got money. There is other places inside the where I can eat… for fuck yourself red lobster. I will be telling everyone one that I know and ripping red lobster every chance I get. Heck i might even pay for a 1 min spot on the radio just to rant about the wanna be gangster pretending to be a bartender or the sever more concerned with her IG… o wait the bartender just slide me a note to meet him after school to throw down for his sister. I thought we were in montclair this is isn’t pomona

Not impressed. My fiancé and I came here because he had a gift card and we thought oh lobster could be tasty. We arrived and the hostess didn’t seem too happy to be here… then we waited for server for a good 10 minutes. He came out and was at least apologetic. We ordered the Maine lobster bake and decided to share since the portion seemed decent enough to share. Sadly we saw it and it was pretty sad! We split the food and we were still left hungry. I thought $ 30 would fill you up but NO we had to order an appetizer just to help us out. Now I get why they are so generous with their bread… the portions are so skimpy that you have no choice but to fill up on the bread just for survival! I will say the bread was GOOD thus the two stars and not one. Wow Red Lobster you got bread right :/anyways we are not returning here, we prefer better places for seafood.

They ruined my live main lobster due to service. I was stunned that when my beautiful gigantic lobster arrived the server set up shop on a large tray on tray stand adjacent to table. Then using crunchers/crushers she began to dismantle it. Then with rubber gloves, she tore it apart. Frequently providing me with handfuls of shredded lobster on a plate waiting in front of me. As she proceeded with her dismantling of this beautiful full lobster, I infrequently received clumps, delivered by way of a glove covered hand. The pile of lobster on my plate quickly became cold. The scene of the gloved hand piling clumps of moist and shredded lobster on my plate not only killed my appetite quickly but it took forever. I finally stopped her and said«I can eat lobster by myself I know how to do this…» I think she meant well but she desecrated my shellfish and created a mess that became cold quickly. The lobster was big and at market price of weight vs price I was charged almost $ 80 for this lobster. This was the most shocking and horrendous thing I had ever seen. Training here is lacking or the Gm needs to understand that not all guests want to be treated(without asking) to either toddler or extremely Elderly treatment. I can handle my expensive lobster myself. Please ask the guest FIRST if they need assistance. It’s like sunflower seeds. They are not as much fun when de-shelled. Having a fresh and enormous lobster served gives one the opportunity to «seek and find» the lobster in nooks and crannies. Searching, cracking and eating is fun. A fresh $ 80 lobster in a cold pile of shreds is not fun. It’s shocking. What a terrible mess. Amateur presentation. I’m done with Red Lobster. I’ll never get over this experience. Service was generally bad even though server was sweet and polite. She forgot my soup and salad. The table was dirty bread was slow. Drink refills took forever. 4:15 in the afternoon, place mostly empty and had to wait ten minutes for a table to be cleaned. Saturday afternoon; crew wasn’t ready for«showtime». What a disaster. Never ever saw a visible manager on floor. I’m still grossed out by my handfuls of lobster experience. Amateurish. You guys are not executing well. Period.

Food was excellent. Service not so much. I normally give 20%, but not this time. It seems that whenever one waiter takes your order and another one brings it there’s always confusion. This time was no exception.

They are discriminatory. My party was of a different color so they had us wait after 7 other parties that came AFTER us to start prepping our table. We kept asking because we were told 10 – 15 minutes. I understand there may be more time because it is only an estimate. But 47 minutes later??? Unacceptable. Anyone else that walked in; even a party larger than mine was seated before mine. Red lobster? More like Racist Lobster. They kept giving us the run around. One excuse after another. vwe only waited because the next restaurant was too far. Once seated took 11 minutes for our drink order. Then for our food order was another 53 minutes. 2 rounds of new guests came and went before half of our food was brought to our table. We werent offerred an apology or any kind of anything for the trouble. We were at this location for approx 2hrs and 40 minutes before eating… Mind u we were hungry. This is completely unacceptable. I know for a fact after observing the treatment that other guests of a lighter complexion in skin color were treated with the utmost respect; that this location discriminates. Also we were given paper napkins instead of cloth napkins. We were the only table that had paper napkins.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews but It was needed this time. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a red lobster, but from what I remember it has always been good until this experience. Walking into red lobster I waited in front of the hostess area for a few minutes while I was never acknowledged. The three hostess seem very mad not wanting to be there. I felt uncomfortable to even ask for a table. Finally we were sat down, we waited longer bc there system was down but our waiter did explained to us the situation. The only reason I’m not giving just one star, is because our waiter was very attentive and great. Now the food, not good like I remember. It was horrible. Overall the experience wasn’t great, and will not be returning to any red lobster I’m the future.

My boyfriend and I received gift cards, otherwise I’m not sure either of us would have ever visited a Red Lobster. When we arrived there was a 10 – 15 min wait so we decided to sit at the bar(completely empty bar) and order a beer each while we waited. We weren’t greeted when we sat down. However there was a bartender(male with glasses) making drinks. Finally, a girl walked out and helped us. Not the bartender. As soon as we got our beers, we were being seated. So we waited 15mins at the empty bar to get a single beer each. The restaurant was not busy, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say perhaps they were under staffed. We ordered the fried calamari for an appetizer, which we ended up sending back because it wasn’t what we expected. Way too many veggies and the«fried» part was rather soft. We split the Cajun chicken pasta dish, which was okay. Not crazy good, but not terrible. We will not be returning to this, or any Red Lobster.

The wife and I visited this establishment for the first time ever for our wedding anniversary on Friday New Year’s Eve 2015. I had the shrimp trio and she had shrimp kabob with snow crab. Halfway through her meal she was feeling a bit«funny» and so we cancelled our movie screening. By 5:30AM New Year’s Day 2016 we were both hit with a wall of nausea, but she was hurling throughout the day and both our stomachs turned throughout the remainder of the weekend. I managed to nurse her with gatorade and salt crackers all New Year’s Day while the rest of the family enjoyed the Pasadena Rose Parade. Now, we cannot even look at shrimp, let alone Red Lobster commercials after what we experienced. After having paid $ 80 for meals for two people(not worth it) we will never have another meal at a Red Lobster establishment again and we highly advise others to take reasonable precautions.

My boyfriend was craving red lobster last night, so we went at around 9. Pretty empty, which was to be expected on a Sunday night. Our waitress was nice, but you could tell everything that came out of her mouth had been memorized, as it sounded robotic. She recommended him the surf and turf, which he got, and I got the choose three entrée. My boyfriend had the steak medium rare, a lobster tail, with fries and their smothered mash potato. He only chose the fries because they had run out of every green side but brussel sprouts, which he doesn’t like. I got the coconut shrimp, the scallops and the shrimp linguini. As an appetizer, he got the stuffed mushrooms. I didn’t try these, because I don’t like mushrooms, but I tried the stuffed part. I could not eat the coconut shrimp, as they had been fried in rancid oil and that’s all I could taste, regardless of how much I dipped them in the yummy pineapple sauce thing. They forgot the linguini, which came way after my entrée, but it was good. I didn’t finish anything, and now I’m afraid of eating it because my boyfriend just informed me(I say just because it’s 7:40 am the following day of our visit) that he has stomach pain, diarrhea and vomiting. I tried everything he had, except for the meat, and I’m okay, but I’m afraid of eating my leftovers just in case I too get sick. He said he could taste the lobster stuffing as he vomited, so it could have been that. He has spent the entire night with food poisoning, and sees no relief. I would have given this review 3 stars or more, but now that I know it’s hurting my boyfriend, I can’t give it anything else than 1. $ 40 plate and a whole day’s worth of his paycheck down the toilet, no pun intended. Beware if you get the surf and turf.

First time trying this restaurant, we got the appetizer sampler, and the 4 course Dinner Entrée. When we walked in was really surprise at how empty this place was for a Friday Night. We were 1 of only 3 people in here. They took a bit long to come to our table to ask if we wanted water or food. But other then that service was great and the food was amazing! However, for the price I would rather go elsewhere like yard house where they offer great happy hour meals and drinks.

The service here was pretty darn bad right from the beginning. The lady took awhile to even ask me for my name and the number in my party. Then she told me that it was an hour and 45 min. wait. The good news was, it only took about 30 mins at the very most. When we were seated, took us forever to get the menu and also the biscuits. Forever to get our water and our order taken. They were not that busy either! So i’m super surprised… The food then took another 30 mins. and it was just not that great. The lobster was probably the best thing out of the yellow broccoli, over cooked shrimp scampi, salty food, etc. Sadly it is the only chain that you can get this type of food or else i’ll go elsewhere. I mean you can get boiling crab and other cajun seafood, just not what the red lobster provides(not even Joe’s Crab Shack is good). Again. MEH!

The food was great and we joined the club they have and got a free lobster artichoke dip. I ordered the crab fest bake and it was delicious and so much I took most of it home. Husband made his own own combo. The real reason for this review is the Service! Going into Red Lobster I didn’t expect much but normal service, but all the employees that we encountered were beyond nice. They sang happy birthday to my husband and earlier in the night our server Samantha noticed his Star Wars shirt and created a Star Wars platter with ice cream. The manager and everyone else were talking to us like we were regulars. Everyone made our first visit to so fun. Who knew a chain restaurant would be this great. Thanks Red Lobster and Samantha! You guys are great!

Red Lobster is no longer part of the Olive Garden Chain. The improvement is impressive! Residing in San Francisco, San Diego, Panama City, Tampa, and Charleston, I know my seafood. The service was top drawer and the Maine Lobster was the real deal – not ‘formerly’ frozen. Prices, for quality seafood, were very reasonable. Lobster bisque, a must experience. I only wish they would toss out the biscuits and serve crusty French or San Francisco sourdough bread.

The service lagged so much here. We had a birthday celebration and had a party of 12. We got seated immediately but it took almost 20 min for the waitress to get our drink orders. Once the food came, only half of the party received their food. The other half had to wait about another 10 min. Someone ordered a beer and the waitress forgot about it. Food wasn’t that great either. I’d say the highlight would be their cheddar bay biscuits. And we are STILL waiting for the bill as I wrote this 20 min ago. And still waiting… If I could give zero stars I would… the waitress was so rude at the end. After she said it’d be easy to split the check in the beginning

My wife brings me to this Red Lobster every year on my birthday(cuz I LOVE me some seafood!) We also visit if we ever get an occasional«night off» from the toddler at home. The service is always decent here. There have been times when I’ve had to ask for extra napkins(which I hate having to do) and refills on drinks(not as annoying as the napkin issue, but still). This year, I finally opted for the«Maine Lobster» and boy, was I a bit disappointed. Look, I know an under cooked lobster will be overly soft and«runny», and that it’s best to eat an overcooked lobster than an under cooked one, but my lobster tail was way too rubbery(the pinser and crusher claw were cooked perfectly). I mean, this place is called REDLOBSTER. I ordered their namesake for dinner, and you can’t cook it right??? The delightful sweetness and light sea flavor of this cold water crustacean could not be processed by my palate as my mind was thinking«CHEW, CHEW, CHEW, CHEW». I’ve also had issues with some of the shrimp dishes her(cue the same rubbery complaint here). Maybe they don’t wanna get sued for serving up under cooked seafood or something. My wife had the«Land and Sea» combo: 12 ounce New York Strip and ¼ lb. Rock Lobster tail(which she graciously shared with me for… ahem…strictly« Unilocaling!» purposes). Her steak was well seasoned(lightly, allowing that beautifully juicy MEAT flavor to shine through). Her Rock Lobster tail was cooked better than my Maine Lobster(tail). The lobster maintained it’s highly oceanic taste(sea salty/fishy) and was just the right blend of tender and rubbery. I get at least one shot a year to try new food(and get a new experience) at this Red Lobster. For now, I’ll be left with the impression that it can hopefully get better.
