three times I’ve called to see if the right bra had come in. Three times, they’d JUST sold out. Three times I was asked if I wanted to leave name/​number/​brand/​size info. Three times I left all that info. Guess how many times I’ve been called while the item was in stock?
I have a store credit that I’d love to get rid of.

Love Johari 2.0 meaning thew new store is larger and the selection is even better than before. The lingerie is «saucy» and «sassy» the swimsuits have always been top quality from the best designers. The styles Johari offers always keeps me coming back for more! The space is great, very well organized and the selection makeS it my go to in a pinch; especially when I don’t feel like venturing to Short Hills for something sexy or my Spanx for under my office suits and dresses! The staff is fun and friendly not to mention the owner is knowledgeable and savvy when it comes to what women/​men want (she did go to FIT no less!) Love Johari and thanks for keep the locals looking amazing in the bedroom and on the beach!
*for those complaining that you can’t return swimwear… get real THAT’S GROSS”!!!

I love this store! I wear a certain bra & thought they carried. Unfortunately it they carry the name brand but not the specific one I need. But Jess & Syndey were great. Made me feel at ease because honestly it’s very hard for me to find my size but they were Very helpful and found me a new bra & brand!!! Definitely will be going back there soon! ONLY drawback is parking but hey, that’s what you get when you go to Montclair! And sell bathing suits yay!!!

Having never been to a boutique lingerie store I was hesitant but excited to walk into Johari. I’ve lived in the Montclair area my whole life and I suppose I’m tired of the hard sell one is given at Victoria’s Secret. Of course I took them up on their free fitting and was met with mixed emotions after finding I’ve been wearing the wrong size (that old story!)
Anyhow I was handed several different colors of full coverage bras for my … ample size and after trying on the first one and striking a pose I instantaneously knew I’d not be venturing out to Macy’s for the ol 18 hour playtex model again. The shop owner was very cordial and accommodating too.
Whatever magic or trick Johari uses makes them the real Victoria’s Secret and let’s keep it that way.
Johari! Send me coupons! I dig yer style!

Deborah and her staff are awesome. Even today, with annual Sidewalk Sale volume, Deb was patient and helpful fitting for bras and bathing suits. Hurry there if you are looking to stock up! Closes at 6 tonight.

I went here sometime last year to get properly fitted for a bra. I have a tiny waist and huge breasts so finding the right sized bras and swimwear can be a difficult task. When I walked into the store, I was instantly greeted by an associate and upon asking to be measured, I was escorted to the dressing room where I was fitted correctly and offered a myriad of styles to choose from. The associate was extremely helpful and friendly and I liked that she gave me privacy when trying on the bras. Although they ended up not having my size in stock, the associate gave me the names of the brands that would carry my size and I looked them up and was actually able to purchase them at my local Nordstrom rack for less than $ 20! Major steal! I would definitely return here. Service is great and the associates are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Johari is a fabulous store for so many reasons!
What ever your looking for when it comes to
Swimwear, Under Garments, as well as special gifts they deliver the goods! Woman and Men are catored to and there is something for everyone, most sizes can be accommodated.
The customer service is impeccable and their knowledge and ability to work with each individual is a spot on.
Johari is always stocked with the latest in styles, keeping you fresh and looking great year round.
I highly recommend Johari a jewel in Montclair.
They really go the XXXTRA mile for You!!!

my experience was obviously very different than the rest of the Unilocalers…
I went in there today for a swimsuit, and the lady that I was trying to engage was not helpful at all and dismissed the couple of questions I had.
the store’s selection (when it came to bathing suits) was nothing to write home about either, I’ll blame it on the fact its winter? meh.
Maybe if I had gone in for lingerie I would’ve had a different experience so take my review for what it’s worth.
But based on the customer service I received today (or lack thereof) I will not be going back

I had the same experience of rudeness last weekend. I mentioned it in a review and the owner wrote a nasty response saying I wasn’t patient enough. My criticism was about the woman yanking bras out of my hands angrily and tellling me they won’t fit. Their customer service is awful and I won’ t go back

Absolutely love this store! For one thing I never knew my true bra size, after visiting I was fitted by a bra expert who made me feel comfortable and at ease. This store is great for those of us woman who have a larger bust. They have tons of selection for us ladies with bigger bra sizes. They don’t only have a great bra selection, but they also have amazing swimwear for women of every size. The sales people are nothing but nice and helpful and the owner is a riot. I recommended all my friends to this store and we are all fans!

Believe the hype! This is place is as good, or better, as you’ve heard. I was immediately put at ease and treated like a VIP at my bra fitting. Sydney, who assisted me, was a wonder and immediately instilled both confidence and camaraderie. The setting was elegant without being fussy or overdone. No sales pressure at all. Top quality merchandise and the prices were far more reasonable than I’ve seen for the same stuff in stores that do not offer anywhere near the customer service I found at Johari!

My mother and I have apparently been wearing bras 2 sizes too small for YEARS. Getting fitted at Johari set that straight in one hour! Great prices, especially for a boutique, and great quality. No more VS for this gal. I plan to definitely come back for swim wear too.

As a «busty» girl, I love this place. You literally find a bra for every shape and size. The staff is super friendly and so helpful. They truly understand the battles of having «big girls» and handle me with comfort, love and care. I recommend ANYONE to go here, friendly atmosphere and they also have an array of bathing suits to suit all body shapes. This is the only place I go for bras. Some bras are a bit pricey, but they are worth every penny!

I LOVE Johari. What can I say, I’m a skinny girl who also happens to be quite large in the wrong (or right, depending on your perspective) area. I’ve been to many, many lingerie boutiques in NJ and have never been as happy as I have been here. The girls who work there are always helpful, educate you about how everything is supposed to fit, and give amazing bra fittings.
They also have a ton of bathing suits (!!!) which is a plus because girls who are larger on top can have an extremely hard time finding a bathing suit at any department or mall store. If you’re on their email list they also send out coupons regularly and always have some items on sale.
Overall a very cute shop in Montclair where someone who usually has a hard time finding a well-​fitting bra or bathing suit can come and feel pretty again :)

Store has a lot of potential and friendly staff, but definite lack of customer service by the owner. You should be able to do a return a day after you buy something with all the tags, protective stickers, and receipt. Just make sure you want to keep something before you purchase. Won’t be going back.

As having a difficult time finding bras in my size, I love the selection available. Small ribcage and being bigger than a DD means Victoria’s Secret is a no go but LOVE the selection of Freya bras there! The staff is always friendly and willing to help you get sized up properly. Your boobs (and back) will thank you.

Service is amazing, high quality lingerie and best of all… bra sized swimsuits and bikinis! I’ve been following Johari for a few years now. Its where I go for my Freya bikini obsession. They always carry the latest collections and also offer to order anything that you might not find in the store.
Staff is always on hand to assist with sizing and I love their new bigger location. Love this store!

Amazing service! Best place to buy lingerie, bras, nursing bras, pajamas, or bathing suit. The women that work at Johari’s are very helpful, very attentive, and very smart about how to pick the right garment that you are comfortable in and look good in. The women are intelligent, kind, and encouraging. I find shopping to be intimidating but at Jahari’s I find it to be FUN! I will for sure go back!
