I have been into hookah for quite some time, and this is one of the weaker hookah’s I’ve been to. The hose was wet, wasn’t hitting well, wasn’t packed too well… But the service, they did try to make the wrong right… second time the hits were better but the hose was still wet. I do like that you can order a hookah and not have a drink/meal minimum… That’s a bonus, and for that if I am in the area Iwould give it a shot, I understand sometimes places have off days.

X2O brought in catering for our company event today. The spinach boreg and cheese boreg were a big hit. Delicious!

Food was phenomenal. Service was excellent. We had the combo kebab plate(chicken, ground beef, beef fillet). The meal came with traditional short grain rice, tomato. No complaints, slightly pricey but well worth it!

I enjoy coming here, my friend brought me here for lunch! The exceptional food that makes your taste buds go crazy for more! The ambience during lunch hours were nice looking, love the red color to Coordinate with the place and what is know for. The noise level was pretty low. And yes hookah is a plus to this place!

The food is great, but the real reason I go back is the employees! They are always welcoming and make you feel so special! You really get your moneys worth at Café X2O and then some! Thank you for always being consistent!

This place rocks! Went here for the first time tonight, and I can’t wait until I come back again. Hubby and I had an appetizer sampler and a kabob plate. Everything was fresh and very flavorful. I loved the cheese boreg, hummus, and spicy labne. Oh, and they’re not stingy with their glasses of wine. If you’re in the mood for Mediterranean cuisine, you definitely will not be disappointed.

Hands down the best Mediterranean food. When you walk in, you’ll notice that it’s a very cute building with interesting windows. It’s not huge and is a great hang out to smoke hookah, so it can get loud, but it has a good vibe. The staff is always very friendly. I absolutely love their cheese boreg and fried kibbeh. They are perfectly cooked and taste like heaven. They have a delicious fattoush salad as well. The bees shawarma is tender, juicy, and well seasoned. We also love the lamb kabobs, beef kabobs, and lule kabob. And their rice is to die for. Who knew rice could taste that good? On top of the food quality, it’s also fairly priced. Café X2O is one of the best restaurants in Monrovia and we absolutely love it.

So I came here, first time of course, and I had made some assumptions. Firstly, the place was not actually pretentious. People of all walks were here. That’s cool. Secondly, Avo AVO(good looking fella) was great with the recommendation. He was pretty chill, had an earnest smile, and fixed a inconvenience for me. Guy is class. Thirdly, the Wednesday wine deal of buy one get one half off made sense since I’m a casual drinking. I like the convenience of having a range in price point to consumption volume. Sometime I don’t want to spend a lot to have a good time, you know? Good to have a range of spending. Overall, chiiiillllleeeennn.

We’ve order take out from here countless times. Everytime we do they say the order will be ready in 15 and guess what… it always is. Hot, fresh, and fantastic! We’ve eaten on site as well. We’ve had every item on the menu and some that aren’t. They are all great. The service is good the staff is friendly and the drinks are very well made. Highly recommended. As a plus, I can even say first hand that the kitchen spotless. If you plan on dining in the restaurant, take your time, try the appetizers and be a little adventurous. You won’t regret it!

Stopped by for lunch during a weekday and it was packed in here. We ordered a few different plates to share: shawarma fries, beef topped hummus, falafel, salad. All of it was really good. The beef topped on the hummus was innovative and good. The shawarma fries were a GREAT big portion. And the falafel was tasty. I was impressed and we’ll be back.

I ate lunch at the Café X20 in Monrovia, CA on 9÷23÷2015. It was my 1st time there. I had a bowl of their lentil soup($ 7.00) and their chicken sandwich($ 8.50). A soda was $ 2.00. Sarah, my server, did a fine job. Plus, I took photos.

Unilocaled for places to have brunch near to what we are and here we are, found this place. It’s a great place for Mediterranean cuisine in this area and they even have hookah here. Parking is free too. Cod Fillet(with rice and grilled vegetables) @$ 15 ~ Love the cod fillet, it’s well-seasoned and I like the smokiness of the fish and the grilled vegetables, it’s really delicious! Beef Kebab(lean tender fillet beef, with rice and grilled vegetables) @$ 12 ~ Love the beef kebab, it’s simple and full of flavor. Meat-lover will definitely want to try this. Garlic Fries ~ It’s sooo good! Will be back for this again! I’m not really a mediterranean cuisine kind of person but I’m surprised I loved the food here. Try it too!

A great option for those seeking good hookah and mediterranean cuisine in the Monrovia area. Café X2O has definitely become a go-to spot for me. They have good service, good food and good hookah — what more could you want? Their hookah selection is one of the more expansive i’ve seen, and their staff is pretty good about bringing new coals over. As for food — while the main dishes are good, their appetizers are what won me over. Two of my favorites are the spicy lebne with jalapenos(say whaaaa?) and a hummus special that has chunks of meat in it(because literally everything is better with meat in it). Drinks are pretty decent here too. Slightly pricy, but they don’t skimp on the alcohol, which is nice. The one thing I don’t love about this place is the closing time. They close fairly early, even on weekends, which makes it hard to count on it as a place to hang out at past midnight. Otherwise, I’m a fan! Stay Cheerful ;)

Make sure to use the $ 35 for $ 50 coupon on the Unilocal app. You can buy it right then and there at the table. Food and service is AMAZING. Make sure to drop in on a Wednesday for their Wednesday Wine nights. Buy a glass, get one FREE! It has to be the same glass of wine, so keep that in mind. Appetizer Sampler($ 22) Huge, I mean HUGE. Comes with pretty much everything. Definitely intend to share this with multiple people, unless you want leftovers(which isn’t bad in its own right). Lule Kebab($ 11) I was excited because I thought it was going to come with two kebabs and I was going munch both of them down. The only thing that sucks about tonight is that it only came with one. WHATWHAT. The dish, however, was pretty spectacular. The rice was on point and the pita was nice, warm, and fluffy. Garlic Fries($ 6) Came out very very fast. The fries had a hint of garlic flavor with nice amounts of parsley on top. Baklava($ 2) It comes with 2 small pieces, but that’s all you’re going to need after the feast we just had. It’s like the cherry on top. So nice and flaky. Not too sweet. Parking is easy. I’ve never had their hookah, but pretty much every other table ordered one. If you have an Entertainment Book(like I do), the restaurant that is listed her under the same address was the old one. In other words, that coupon is no longer valid.

May 15, 2015 On certain nights, the family will come together to go have dinner. So, I have now been here twice with my family. Food is great here. There are hookah bars and wine served here. The food is fabulous. The family loves the food here. Obviously, I can never pass on hummus. I ordered the Lentil Soup(I don’t like it because it’s too salty for me) but the kabobs are perfect! Rice is well seasoned and great to stuff in the pita bread.

I thought I haven’t came here before… but I have, under a different restaurant name, luckily most of the menu was still the same. The restaurant is set up in a rectangular shape and they offer hookah as well for anyone who wants to eat and hookah. I just came here to grab some food. The kebab plates were priced between $ 11 — $ 12 depending on the meat you got or you can get a combo kebab plate which came with lamb and beef for $ 24. I went with a chicken kebab plate, and my friends and I shared some hummus. The hummus was very flavorful here, it was rich and creamy and had a strong garlic taste. The chicken kebab plate was awesome, although the rice that it came with was quite salty, it actually balanced well with the grilled chicken, grilled tomato and grilled chili pepper when you eat them together. The plate also came with two slices of peeta bread. It takes awhile for your food to come out, but service was really good non the less.

The kebab combo and hummus were great. Their garlic sauce is so good. My kids liked the garlic sauce on the pita with rice and chicken. I had the beef shawerma platter… the tri tip was so tender and tasty. And there was so much of it. The next day I made a pita sandwich with tahini, tri tip and rice and it was FANTASTIC! I was bit disappointed by the falafel though. It seems over fried. I will try it again next time. Each server that walked by our table asked if we needed anything… very attentive service. They always have something going on during the week. Live music on Fridays, Wine Wednesdays There were so many other things on the menu I wanted to try, like the fish or lamb chops. Will have to come back!

One of those rare spots that graduated from a LivingSocial find to my regular restaurant rotation. Same order, like clockwork, every time: 1. Kebab Combo(for 2) 2. Garlic(4oz)* 3. Tabbouleh I mean, really, that garlic sauce would make anything taste like a 5-star meal(it goes with everything!). But wrapped in the pita with the meat, tabbouleh, and grilled veggies, you’ve got the perfect bite. There’s some type of secret ingredient in the rice(spices? oils from the grilled meat? crack?!?) that keeps you scooping spoonful after spoonful onto your plate. Inevitable leftovers are great for lunch the next day. They have Wine Wednesdays and Beer Thursdays specials, as well as hookah for those who like to kick back. TV’s(usually NBA) to catch the game. Great service. Most importantly… if you have leftover garlic sauce, I’ll take it! I’m sure you’ll be able to find me with your nose. *garlic makes the world go ’round
