After searching high and low for the perfect mattress I finally found it! Michael was extremely knowledgeable and not at all pushy! I will definitely be back for any future purchases.

3 years ago I bought a mattress set that I was very happy with at the beginning. fast forward and the mattress started sagging. I contacted sleepy’s and they got me in touch with mattress marshals. After sending in the pictures they asked for they decided to replace the box spring because it was clearly broken but not the mattress even though I explained that the mattress is broken as well because it can’t be rotated. If I rotated it it slides away from the wall. They are claiming not enough sag. My husband called them and they reversed their decision. We were shown 5 different sets within our original purchase price and we are getting next day delivery.

I don’t know why I’m even giving this retail chain one star but I have had a slightly better experience in Manhattan — not so here in Monroe. I needed a extra-long twin mattress protector for my son going off to college — a dorm requirement. they didn’t have one but said it would get to me in two days so I paid them $ 50.00 and then waited and waited until I had forgotten all about it — until I had to drive my son all the way to Georgia to check in for school. We were able to purchase one easily at a Bed Bath & Beyond in Savannah. When I got back to Monroe, still no delivery and by then it had been about 3 weeks. I went into the store and got the bum’s rush. I was told the product had shipped and arrived — it was«closed.» I explained that I never got the protector and that’s why I was there — for a refund. He disputed my claim, pointing to his screen and saying, «Yep, it’s closed. Looks like you got it.» We argued a bit and then, I guess because he knew I wasn’t going to roll over … he relented and with a heavy sigh and clucking tongue he begrudgingly started to fill out the online form for a return. In fact, the guy told me he would send me an email right away to verify my refund. The email never came and that’s my fault — I forgot that I never gave them my email — a practice I started a while back and I recommend it — you get less SPAM if you stop giving it out. But funny enough, the very next day(yesterday) the mattress protector arrived! Coincidence? I think not. It never shipped — someone didn’t do their job and they were trying to make it look like it had been stolen from my porch or something. I went in to the store again(my third time) and was determined to get the refund or stay there until closing. The clerk acted like one of those burned out postal clerks — like the one’s in Monroe … they couldn’t care less about you, the customer. This pompous jerk called his«DM» and spoke in easily deciphered code — obviously he and his District Manager thought I was being a demanding asshole and a jerk. All I wanted was a refund. I got it — but will never ever shop in that place again. If you need to buy a mattress just go into any mattress store — Sleepy’s if you must. Write down the make and model number — then go home and call 800MATTRESS and they will sell you the very same mattress for a fraction of the cost. It’s the best deal in town — how everyone in NYC buys their mattresses. SLEEPY’S is ONEBIGRIPOFF in price and customer service. They totally suck.
