The best pizza I have had this side of the Mississippi! My mom, boyfriend and I went to Pieworks for the first time and it was a huge hit! My mom is the quasi-food critic of the family so if you can impress her, you know it must be good. We made our own pizza — pepperoni, artichoke hearts and spinach. I was expecting the artichoke hearts to be tiny but they were huge! Our pizza was covered in toppings and the dough they use to make their crust is delicious. It was light but still had some good chew to it. We all split a Greek salad which was gigantic and all the ingredients were really fresh and wonderful. We were wondering why adding a bread stick to your meal cost over $ 1 but we found out when the bread stick that came with the salad arrived — it’s basically the size of a small loaf of bread! My mom really could care less about bread sticks but even she loved it. It had an amazing cheese and spice bread on it. I could eat a basket of those on their own and be happy. Also, they have Angry Orchard on tap! Being a lover of hard cider, this was a huge plus for me. Most places don’t even carry Angry Orchard or Woodchuck so finding one or the other at a restaurant(especially when it’s on tap) is the cherry on top for me. Can’t wait to eat here again in the future!

Great food, great service. My family came and kids had a GREAT pepperoni pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. We had a spicy crawfish pizza and side salad. Both fantastic. Will come again next time we’re out this way.

We were visiting the Monroe area… This place was recommended by a friend … There were only two people working the front. The waitress was really shy … I had to ask three times for a straw… I ordered the nooner lunch special… After 44 minutes… NEVERGOTSALAD … Pizza came out with grease on top and warm not hot… The tea I ordered had very little ice but was filled so high I had trouble drinking it… Other locals said service was NEVER this bad and it was a good place … After requesting to see the manager 4 times and being told by my waitress he was too busy to come out… He finally appeared with two earrings(one in each ear) and young enough to call my son! He apologized gave us two to go boxes and comped the meal. We took the pizzas and went to Burger King … We will not go back ever as there was nothing that wowed us except the poor service!!!

I recently moved to Monroe and heard nothing about Pie Works. We’d visited another location in Jackson and decided to try it out. Kids eat free on Tuesdays, which is a HUGE plus. The kids meals are well sized and their shells and cheese is delicious. My brother and I split two small specialty pizzas which were also delicious and plenty for one person. Their wheat crust is my favorite. Their breadsticks were so-so, but everyone loved their meal. Their beer selection is better than most other places I’ve been in town– I was very pleasantly surprised. This will definitely be a regular stop for us!
