Framed By Kosal

I’ve had 6 or 7 pieces done by Kosal now in the last 3 years. Some were basic frames, some were more complicated and the last one was a completely custom hand-​built frame with custom fabric dying and hand stitching. The custom frame was for a cheap $ 15 poster that has sentimental value to me and the job that Kosal did on it was incredible and well worth the money. He turned the $ 15 image into a show stopping masterpiece that gets constant commentary from guests to my home.
I can’t recommend this man enough. His work is more than fairly priced, he takes great care with his work and he’s supremely artistic and tasteful. Somehow he always knows what’s needed to make an impact, whether is texture, depth, color or material. A true artist.

I recently moved to Ct. and this was my first experience with a frame show here. I was totally pleased. The work was very well done and at a reasonable price. I will return.

The staff did a great job framing a professional certificate of mine recently (June 2015). I plan on using them again for when I obtain an additional certification in my career field in 2016.

This was the first place that showed up on my Unilocal search, so as I had left my frame job a little too long, and it was time for my friend’s birthday, I thought I would give it a shot, and see if they could help me frame the hand painting I wanted to gift him. First I met the lady who was married to the artist doing the framework. She was amazing, patient and very helpful. Then the young man who owns the place came in and set everything to perfection ensuring that I would never need to look for another frame shop again! They are both simply amazing and such wonderful people. I am glad they made it through. They said there were 3 other frame shops and they are the only one left standing. I can see why! And I hope they continue to be successful, for they certainly do an amazing job!

A small custom-​framing shop run by a young man trained as a fine artist. The work done here is personalized, professional, and extremely high quality, but the prices are reasonable. I needed quick turnaround on a college diploma, so it needed to look great. The owner committed to my timing and advised me on frame, glass, matting and colors, even to the point of looking up the college’s colors online, which I didn’t know! Personal service, custom creations, a fine eye for design and color, and high-​quality work. I’ll be back!

First rate framing. I’ve had many, many pieces framed by Kosal. He is a true craftsman. He is also very helpful if you are not sure what kind of mat or frame your artwork should have. He has a very good eye. A real perfectionist!
