If you like bleu cheese you must try Pork Chops Fromage. It was simple but oh so heavenly. I had it with au gratin potatoes and it was all stellar. Why isnt this place busier? We were nearly the only ones there. My wife is picky and she had a burger, it looked good. I had a few of the fries and again they were excellent. Salty and fresh. It was great and I was stuffed. I would definately go again.

Our meal was perfect. The view was great. The waitress chatted us up a bit and told us how the kichen staff makes everything you can eat there on site. Nothing is prefab, as in dressings, soups, salads, croutons, even the BBQ sauce, cheese sauce, alfredo sauce, tarter, horsey, and cocktail sauces are made by the guys in the kitchen. The fishes, steaks, chops – all hand butchered. Fishes and battered things, hand battered. Well it really all makes for a breath of fresh air. Everything I have tried was wonderful. For me its worth a few extra dollars and minutes to be served something that wasnt unwrapped and microwaved. Keep up the good work!

Lovely atmosphere. My wife and I dined outside, where we had a nice view of the Mississippi, and some fancy little yachts. I only stepped inside for a moment, but the bar looked pretty neat. A large shark was hanging from the ceiling.
The food was good and you get what you pay for. I got the fish and chips – fresh tasting fish and lots of thick fries. Excellent.

Stopped in for a drink when we were nearing the end of a long bike ride. It’s right on the 65 mile trail. Cute harbor vibe but a little dated and the staff had trouble comprehending that we needed a place to park the bikes… asked once on the way in and then got scolded. Seriously… embrace the bike crowd! Would be willing to wager that the. Imports tip better than the locals. Bike rack?

Every time we eat here the food has been excellent 5 star’s always. Unfortunately the service sometimes is lacking, sometimes they seem under staffed and other times the service is just slow for no apparent reason. Even with the slow service at times it is worth trying.

My wife and I had dinner here, sat at a table outside looking at the river very nice. We started with the fried mushrooms and what a app! Lots of medium sized mushrooms and the batter is the best we have had! I ordered fish and chips and my wife ordered a burger. The burger was great, the fish was just OK but the fries are outstanding. We loved this restaurant and it’s just down the river from our house. Just moved from Reno NV and haven’t had a bad meal anywhere in the Quad Cities.

Awful experience on a Sunday afternoon. Took about 45 minutes to get our food, very mediocre burgers and overcooked fries. Overpriced. Lots of unhappy customers in the restaurant, some were getting their own refills at the bar while others were walking to the bar to pay their bill sooner.

We had a great dinner and fabulous service. If you go — ask to be seated in Becky’s section! Crab cakes, hot crab/​shrimp dip, garlic dressing, au gratin potatoes — all fantastic!!! Hadn’t been there in many years and we really enjoyed it. Wish the view was a bit more unobstructed but still nice.

We ate on the patio by the river near sunset. I had the Brown Sugar Scottish Salmon with onion strings and a salad and my spouse had a Caesar salad and we were both very happy. Service was excellent. My only complaint was there were gnats that kept annoying me. I think they liked the salmon or the sugar. I didn’t see anyone else with the problem and my spouse didn’t have a problem. It was a lovely dinner otherwise

Been to the captains table a number of times. Food is great, I love there watermelon drinks!!! It’s a great place to go check out on Sundays they usually have live bands playing with decent turn outs. Defiantly would recommend

My family goes to the Captain’s Table about once or twice a month. The brown sugar salmon and filet are our favorites. The new au-​gratin potatoes are the best side you can chose, they taste like a bowl of loaded baked potato soup. We held our rehearsal dinner here, and it was a great setting, very nice and roomy. The group had a great time. Very wide selection of food and drinks alike. In the summer they have outdoor bands, so it’s fun to sit outside and listen while you can look out over the river. Really nice servers who have been there a long time, too.

Not only is the food and décor homey, the amazing part is the view. Upstairs terrace and dock for folks to steer their way in from the mighty Mississippi. Great, well-​stocked bar.
I remember lots of good dinners had here with the ‘rents. Was very excited to hear this place reopened, but haven’t been able to return in several years. Maybe next time!

Great place to eat if your coming in off the boat or just want good seafood and a relaxing place to eat. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable.
So far my favorite things there are the crab cakes and seafood risotto.

Food is always good. Service occasionally lacks but the try hard and try to make it up to you. Come in by boat if you can, it’s neat.
So far the Chilean Sea Bass has been the favorite.
