Applebee’s

By far the best service I have ever received at an APplebees. Our food was slightly overdone and the manager of this location quickly came over to us before we could even touch our food. I was very impressed

The staff was great. The bartender drinks were on point. Appetizer came quickly. The place is clean and convenient.

The appetizer was deep fried in old oil.
Service was ok. Main course was not bad.
I would say, don’t order anything fried.

Came here on my son’s whim. I, personally, am not a fan of Applebee’s. The menu has changed quite a bit, the prices are a lot higher than they were, food is still not quality but what was amazing was our server, Trimmel I. I ordered my steak medium-​well but more on the well side. My steak came out undercooked & Trimmel actually took the time & cared enough to bring it back to the kitchen to have them correct it without my having to ask. He was also very attentive, expeditious with the service, knowledgeable of the menu & polite. It was the first time I had such amazing service at ANY Applebee’s!!! I had to leave the review for him because people either rave or trash a place but it’s rare when exceptional service is rendered to recognize the person working hard to make someone’s meal an enjoyable experience. Thank you for making us feel as if we were in a fine dining establishment.

The service there is consistently appalling! I ordered a simple Piña Colada and waited 25min to get it at which point I was parched and realized it was not frozen nor did it have alcohol. I sent it back thinking ok simple mistake let me give her the benefit of the doubt, after 23min it came back unfrozen and again NO alcohol I was apprehensive at this point thinking for sure it may come back third time tainted! The waitress insisted she would take care of it she passed my table a total of 4 times without my drink I Was frustrated at this point and she came noticed I was trying to wave her down at which point she came with the drink. I gave her my food order to wait 25 minutes in addition to the previous order. She came back with a bourbon chicken that looked deep fried several times in old oil that tasted very bad. I was famished at this point and disappointed and asked my lunch date to taste and confirm what I thought and she confirmed it and she is a NYC food inspector/​chef. I sent it back I ordered the oriental chicken with grilled chicken as an alternative after a 15min wait the waiter (someone totally different from my waitress) came with fried chicken oriental salad I explained I was leaving and why and my waitress came out with a different dish which was my order. I was charged regular price almost $ 15.00 for what looked like a kids meal and I was not even compensated for the aggravation instead I was slapped with a bill that was astronomical for the worst experience at Applebee’s ever!!! I will NEVER recommend anyone to go eat there!!! The oil is old the service is horrific and the customer is left with a ridiculous bill and a bad experience!!! My first instinct was to go across to Mc Donald’s and I should’ve followed it!!! They are better at this point than Applebee’s in Mohegan Lake NY!!!

So my daughter and I and granddaughter were out shopping we decided being it’s close to stop at Applebee’s we sit down and noticed the menu has completely changed which was not a problem but their prices went up a good amount I ordered chicken tenders platter my daughter had a salad and my granddaughter had the grilled cheese for kids it first started off with The plate they serve to grill cheese had old catchup on it we knew we were in a hurry and still have to eat so we took the french fries off the plate and pushed it aside my chicken tenders came out just a little warm not even hot and dry every time I go to this Applebee’s it’s never any good and I don’t know why I keep coming back The waiter was very nice he asked if I wanted to see a manager and I said no but just let them know that they should clean the plates better before they come out to a customer

I basically stick with my original review for the most part. Giving them a star upgrade bc I think my original review was a bit harsh.
Biggest complaint… You have a bunch of staff standing around doing nothing while the bar tender is also the winter in the bar area.
Ordered Apps and a soup today bc we came for a late lunch. Ordered the pick Your Own Appetizer Sampler — Pulled Pork Nachos, Honey BBQ Wings and some type of Thai Chicken Taco. Everything was delish but he nachos lacked meat.

I ordered the 2 for $ 20 online. Riblets w/​red potatoes w/​salad and the steak w/​a baked potato. I also got a. chicken tenders and Mac and cheese kid meals. I set it up to be picked up in the evening. I got there 8 minutes early. The hostess sent me to the bar. Two employees were having a personal conversation. Then after a couple minutes I finally got help. Since my order wasn’t ready I went back to my car. Played a few games of candy crush and went back in at the time my order was suppose to be ready. I went back to the bar… the place was busy. 2 outta about 20 people actually asked if I needed help. The manager (guy w/​tie and headset telling bus boy to hurry up) walked by a few times and never said a word to me. For pick up, there’s no chairs or anything– so I’m standing by the register at the corner of the bar waiting. The girl comes out saying it’s not ready and asked wheat I wanted w/​the salads… I looked at the receipt and seen everything that was ordered, but found out if you order online, the salads are different and they don’t know how to read the receipt. I got salads w/​just lettuce and tomatoes. When they should have cucumbers and one with cheese. It was a mess. Then I asked about the drinks w/​the kids meals. I didn’t get them and the girl was like did you order any? I said ya I ordered 2 kids meals. She said oh there’s only one so she had to pull out the receipt again and I showed her I ordered two. So 20 minutes later, I finally got my food. And the fries were cold. Bad first experience at this location!

our waiter trimmed took our order and got it wrong. when it came time to pay our bill it took 15 minutes to get change. when change arrived it was the wrong amount. manager should retrain staff. first bad experience in my life. michael ciron

Went into Applebee’s with my family. There were 5 of us and were seated at a high top table right next to where the hostess stands. We are seated at 7:50pm, and after 20 minutes, no one even came over to ask for what drinks we would like. We left and ended up going to Moe’s. I have never had this bad of an experience at an Applebee’s. Usually they are good, but this service was atrocious. Several of the staff walked by us, and not once did they even look at us. The hostess was too busy chatting with the other teenaged employees to notice no one came over to us. I will not go back.

We arrived around 9 and as usual it was busy but we were seated after a few minutes. It took a little bit for us to be served but over all the food was very good. I only ordered the cheesecake this time around but I have had the two for 11.99 deal before which is a really good idea. The portions are like half of the regular

This Applebee’s is amazing! Love the Fiesta Lime Chicken! Every time I dine at this Applebees I am always greeted by a friendly host. The food is good always served hot and by a friendly server. What more could you ask for. Great and highly recommended.

I like this Applebees. My kids like Applebees. Good variety, fair prices. Hit or miss with the steak. Good ribs & fries. Good bnls wings. Service is usually pretty good. I like going there.

Came with the family for some finger foods and we had The bean crisps and the kobe meatballs and there were great. But the best part was our waitress ANGELINA. By far the best we ever had.

This Applebees amazes me…
Let me tell you why…
Ahem, this Applebee’s is very busy, even during the week! I mean like waiting for a table busy. Why?
I admire that they are very community conscious and involved. I think that’s it?
It’s not the food or the service.
What makes people come here? The only decent thing I’ve eaten here is a salmon dish from the healthy options menu, and the happy hr drink specials are typical for a chain restaurant.
I think it might be like «mass hysteria» that’s causing people to keep coming here.

When we entered there the place was totally empty, but full with staff, the hostess treated nicely gave us nice table , waitress took the order and it came an hour later, I don think so roasted honey chicken tender take that long
But food was very good and nice portion .they should give a very good training g for the staff hospitality industry very different from others

I’m pretty fussy. Have been very pleased last
6 months with the food. I don’t know who they put in the kitchen but the quality & presentation jumped a mile. Very good !

Return regularly with colleagues for beers on draft, and well-​made martinis. Good beer values during happy hour in the bar area only.
Friendly staff.
Recently added Heineken on draft but disappointed that Captain Lawrence is no longer offered.
Want to be perceived as a local watering hole? Then add selection of local brews… not just brews from the national brewmeisters.

I will never go here or take anyone here unless its for half price apps mon-​thurs from 4 til close, and we don’t have anything better to do. You are forced to sit in the bar area for the half price deal but hey, high tops are cooler anyway! My friends and I usually order anywhere from 3 – 7 apps and get 4 beers each, and we still only have to pay about 15 – 25 $ a person; thats a bargain.
Stick with the beer as the mixed drinks are weak as all hell. Long Island Iced Tea, for those advanced and enough in withdrawal that need liquor, know to expect that punch in the gut and throat after swallowing a sip of this toxic tempress… Don’t. It’s as weak as cola and a splash of rum and not worth it.
They really try with the service but they hire the most pathetic people sometimes I swear. It’s either takes forever or something is forgotten and wrong. I’m not a douche though b/​c I realize it can get tough as a waitress/​waitor; so I just remind and tell them to keep the drinks coming and take their time.
Also why I don’t eat here– food poisoning on multiple occasions. My sister was sick within 30 mins of returning home after a chicken-​and-​cheese incident. I called the manager who tried to convince me that food poisoning doesn’t take afect until 48 hours later. Say WHAT?! And this is why YOU work at Applebee’s homie. He said he would give me a comp meal if I called in the next day. Suck a chode, my sister never wants to return anyway, free food or not.
So many issues here over the past few years that I just go in with no expectations and drink a lot to soothe my mind. Oh well.
