Just before I was giving them 5 stars my girlfriend asked «is it possible to fall in love with a burrito?». It is, this place is amazing! And the price is great too. Wish i wasn’t just passing through

You will never be disappointed with this little gem. Everything from the stuffed breakfast burritos to the carnitas is a party in your mouth. And it’s cheap! If you find yourself close by you MUST try.

Love the breakfast burritos. Saw a snarky review from another reviewer that was a Vegan. Dude you do NOT come to a place like this for vegan food and really– you should have known better if you are a Mex food aficiondo– this ain’t Chipotle. Hole in the wall Mex places are the bomb, vegans go elswhere.

After all the great reviews, I was expecting a spectacular hidden gem. I was sorely disappointed. The food was bland and the ingredients were clearly from a can.
I ordered a chicken enchilada and beef taco plate. The red sauce on the enchilada was clearly a canned sauce that was chalky and bland. The beef in the taco was stringy and gross. The rice was so undercooked it crunched when I bit into it and the beans had shredded cheddar on top. None of the sauces had any real flavor.
For two people the cost was $ 18. Cheap for decent food, expensive for this food. The Mexican market next door had some delicious, spicy pico de gallo that we bought after dinner with chips to get some flavor on our tongues.
Two stars because it was clean, fast, and had friendly staff.

The vegetarian dish on the menu is not, I repeat NOT vegetarian! Yes, it IS LABELED VEGETARIAN ON THE MENU… but it’s not. Yuck. That should be illegal.
I had read on a Unilocal review that the homemade tortillas have lard in them, and the lady at the counter confirmed it. So, I tried to tell her «I don’t care what you make, I just don’t want animal products in it.» I explained it 100 different ways ’til Sunday, and was met with many «Oh, I don’t know“s, so in the middle of trying to think of how to say it in Spanish I gave up and just told myself «Fuck it. I’ll just get what I get.»
I ended up getting the vegetarian burrito without cheese or Sour Cream. Along with that came a «leave a bucket by the bed» sour stomach. Did I just eat an entire plate of pig fat?
Ugh.
Plus side, it only cost me $ 4.
My honey had a chicken burrito, and said the chicken was chewy.
If you want to go to Taco Bell, this would be a nice step up.
If you want to go to an Americanized sit down Mexican chain franchise, I would say pick something else, because this is an order at the counter and receive cheap take out even though you said «for here» kind of place.
If you want to go to an authentic delicious Mexican restaurant because you have a hankering for it due to being so near the border of Mexico… you’re better off eating crackers from the nearby Family Dollar store.

Excellent breakfast burritos! I’d stop in here again while traveling through. We actually drove right by it and wouldn’t have looked twice except we turned back after reading a couple Unilocal reviews. Prices were reasonable and the food quick.
Definitely lard in the tortillas though, so if that’s not you’re thing…

This place looks a little rough on the exterior, but probably the best ground beef hard shell taco I ever had. Portions were large and inexpensive. Well worth the drive in.

Went here for dinner, love the workers they are very nice. The good it’s amazing I’m happy find a small place like this. Everytime I order (twice) it has been perfect. The prices are good it can e a wait sometimes but I feel it’s worth it.

Freshly cooked Mexican food with great favors. Friendly, helpful service. Doesn’t look like much from outside, but it was great.

If you’re ever unfortunate enough to find yourself in this part if the world, you can take heart in knowing that there’s a Great little Mexican place. Delicious food and good prices. Nice folks!
