Best pizza in town. Such a cool restaurant/​bar. The wings are delicious as well. They are a little unorganized when it comes to seating/​greeting the guests, they just kind of seat people on a whim which is inconvenient on busy weekend nights. But besides that I’ve never experience bad customer service and we come here all the time. So delicious

more Pizza Hut, round table etc

Not being from Modesto, i looked to Unilocal to find me a good pizza joint. I found this place and decided to check it out, we were having a tough time deciding what pizza to get, the waitress was so helpful and so friendly and suggested we get half half of the pizzas we wanted.
Now on to the pizza, its was delicious and loaded with toppings, and my sister other sister who decided to get a personal pizza was happy her pizza was also nice and cheesy and filled with toppings.
Our waitress who I wish I remembered her name was so attentive and checked up on us just the right amount.
What a cool place, can’t wait till I’m in Modesto again and I’ll definitely have to stop in for some pizza or maybe I’ll try one of their other menu items since I know the pizza is good.

Gave them a call. Ordered a FULL THROTTLE — Large and asked if it would be ready in 20 mins. They confirmed.
27 minutes later I walked in and was promptly greeted and seated in a «reserved» and clean table. Served bevs. Pizza came out perfect. Grubbed it. No one bugged me. But I did notice that there was a buzz at the bar about my arrival. Nice to be recognized but not bothered.
I kinda felt like a VIP for the 30 minutes I was sitting there enjoying my lunch.
I appreciated the hospitality.
You know I installed all the planters and watering system back in ’99 or so.

This place is AMAZING! the staff was great and and the food was delish! I can’t wait to go back!

Great pizza, great service, and fair prices! And I love that they use Sciabica’s Olive Oil. I have tried a couple different pizzas and sides here, and everything has been fantastic. Great place for parties or large groups!

I couldn’t believe it took me so long to find this place. Great pizza and amazing beer prices.
I have not tried it yet but I hear the breakfast is awesome.

Buffet Man Sez: Wow. This is the best pizza I’ve had … Maybe all time! Light and airy crust totally blew me away when they brought it out. Had a half half of the Green Machine and the Masterpiece, onion rings, salad. Amazing meal and we got 20% off the pizza for checking in on Unilocal AND the appetizers were 50% off during happy hour. And we walked out with half the pizza left! Unilocal stars don’t lie. Bazinga!

Had the Tomato & Mozzarella Stack appetizer, suggested by a friend. Wow! Very nice if you like salads made with basil .

Not the New York style I was looking for, but by far the best pizza I’ve had on the west coast. Will be coming back when I make trips to Modesto!

I really like this place. At first glance it seems an odd location for a restaurant, sandwiched between a Harley dealership on the left and a Yamaha dealer on the right, but you’re in for a treat. I’ve only ever had their pizza so that’s what I’m basing my review on. They make some of the best pizza I’ve had in California. It is somewhat heavy on the toppings but the sauce is delicious and they have a decent selection of beer on tap to really pair nicely with the pizza.
The décor, as you’d expect is motorcycle-​oriented and sometimes you can smell the oil from next door but it isn’t overpowering or offensive. I come here whenever I get the chance, it’s well worth the drive across town. It isn’t in the greatest part of Modesto but police officers regularly dine here so no worries…

Came to Michael’s based on the reviews on Unilocal.Pizza was 2.5 star quality; the pepperoni was unevenly cooked (the gave us free double pepperoni because they messed up our order – we had to wait for another pizza), sauce was bland, cheese was pretty good, and crust was chewy but forgettable. If one glances at all the other pics here on Unilocal,one would see their pies are often unevenly cooked or undercooked; so my advice would be to have the cooks rotate the pizzas in the oven more often and let them cook a bit more.
The location is biker-​bar-​themed (you can see my pic) but also family friendly – maybe I’ve been watching too much Bar Rescue, but this was an odd combo in my mind. There were tons of kids running around amok; several were playing dodgeball and one kid was walking around with two balls in his shirt acting like a prepubescent anarchist… so that little bit of chaos was off putting. However, I know they’re catering to their clientele in Modesto so maybe it’s just a local thing to have a million kids acting crazy while you booze it up and eat pizza.
The staff were nice, if not slow. When one waiter was leaving his shift he made the pass-​off to another waiter with aplomb. They asked us if we wanted a complimentary drink because they brought out the wrong pizza so that was considerate. Prices were pretty cheap too; if you check in on Unilocal they give you 20% off.
I knew when evaluating pizza in the Central Valley, one must take into context the other available pizza when making a comparison. It’s not going to be fair to evaluate this pizza here based on what I was eating in New Haven or NYC, but to be fair, it really wasn’t all that great relative to other pizza in Fresno, Madera, etc. Overall, as a pizza aficionado, I thought the pizza was nothing special, but good enough for the area. However, I’d drive down to Madera and get my pizza from Premier Brick Oven Pizza if I really wanted HQ pizza.

High four star place. We had zero complaints with our dining experience here.
1.) staff greeted us immediately upon arrival.
2.) we were seated quickly
3.) we got our drinks quickly. BlueMoto (yes it’s blue but it’s not very sweet and tastes like a L’Island w/​out too much sweet n sour) HailMary was good with martini olives+martini onion.2 thumbs up from the Bloody Mary fan
4.) we ordered an extra large which fed a 7year old (who ate more than everyone with his 3 huge slices) a 10 yr old and 12 yr old plus 2 adults with 2 slices left over. A house salad which was very good and not just iceberg lettuce.
5.) our server checked on us often.
6.) prices were very reasonable.
My only draw back was that the restrooms need to be updated. They were clean don’t get me wrong, it’s just it felt like I was in a different place compared with the rest of the feel of the establishment. The rest of the place is pretty cool with the Harley décor.

Visiting the area we came upon this place base one the reviews and the great pictures. We decided to give it a shot.
I won’t lie I did not think the food was going to be good but boy I was surprised. I the pizza was served with heavy toppings just like I would prepare at home.
We also tried the sweep potatoes fries — the were prefect crisp and the home made honey mustard was excellent.
Our server was great, she took time and explain the menu and was will to change a few topping on out pizza with no problem.
If I am in town again I will return in a heart beat.
