I went In the other day about an hour and half before they were going to close. I was super hesitant to order any food but my boyfriend insisted that it was good. The food was Decent the broth for the phở was dark which was very weird to me. The only thing I didn’t like is that the restaurant smelt like bleach which made me not such a happy person.

Came here with my daughter and we had shrimp martini, lion king roll and a custom made spicy roll made by the chef/​owner, it was amazing! Second time eating here, both times were delicious. Definitely coming back soon!

Love the food here. The service is always friendly. We live close and always enjoy grabbing take out or having dinner here. The fish is fresh, the rolls are delicious and they have a great selection. Prices are very reasonable. A hidden gem in Modesto!

I thought my meal was quite pleasant I expected a little more beef but it was still good the sauce was good but the holes told me you get more beef when you order the dinner although. The sushi I ordered was good I enjoyed it

I’ve come here at least five times in the last three months. EVERY time I’ve been here the food has been absolutely exceptional. From noodle bowls to sushi. Always hot, fresh and so so good! I won’t go anywhere else now when I want fantastic Asian cuisine!

The food is good and their portions are big. We got 2 bento sets, an appetizer, and 2 drinks for around $ 30. I think that’s pretty cheap for a japanese restaurant. :D plus they have thai tea boba that tastes pretty legit. YIS

Lion Fusion is a great little hole in the wall, Sushi/​Japanese resturaunt. The 3 sushi rolls for $ 9.95 is so worth it. I get that deal with the Spicy Tuna roll and its fantastic and worth it!

Not gonna be a long review I went here yesterday for lunch with Paco. Great place really really cheap place!
I’ve never really had bad sushi so this is great just like any super fancy sushi place. Unlike those places though it’s not decorated fancily nor it is a stand alone or a big place but that’s not really a big deal because the food is superb!

This place is truly a gem in Modesto. The staff is very friendly and pays close attention to their customers. I love the phở bowls, of which there are different types and flavors, and are all so delicious! But most of all, their sushi is a great deal compared to all other sushi places in town. Their sashimi is high-​grade level, for only half the regular cost at other restaurants. I absolutely recommend this place all day, every day… Except for Mondays, when they’re closed. :)

Wonderful as always. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here and Chef and his staff did not disappoint. He made a vegetable bouquet, a special tuna tartar dish, and brought out tempura ice cream for my daughter. Very amazing. My youngest is now eating sashimi because he liked the tartar dish. My wife and I had the chirashi and my older son had the chicken katsu bento. My daughter had her favorite Japanese seafood rice noodle soup. Good times. Thanks, Chef Thomas and everyone for making this occasion special.

I’m only giving this place a 2 star because the food quality has really gone down since it’s oppening. We live close to this place and it became one of our regulars until they decided to make some changes. The food is not very fresh anymore. They are trying to compete with Panda Express but panda has way more flavor than this place. The only good things I can say about this place is they give large portions and you will save roughly $ 1.50 on a meal vs panda. In my
opinion it is not worth it. Go to another Chinese restaurant with more flavor and fresher food.

moving from the bay area to the valley has been a cultural shock for many reasons, especially the food. growing up in the bay area, the food expectations are high.
Read few comments about lion fusion before i went. So i formed assumptions already. It was your typical chinese place… had chinese food and sushi. For the bay area standards, the food was decent. the price was not too bad either. In which, I would come back again, just for those reasons: decent food and low prices. Can’t go wrong with that.

This place is the epitome of Chinese fast food. Their food is not very fresh or flavorful. Sits in big batches on a heating table. The rolls are almost tasteless. If it wasn’t for the sauces on top they would have no flavor at all. The orange chicken was very dry and also lacked good Chinese flavor.
The portion sizes are very large, but its a lot of mediocre food. In my opinion its not worth the visit.

First time here with my girlfriend…
Chinese food:
I ordered a #3 which gave me two entrees (orange chicken and fusion chicken) fried rice and chow mein as I got half/​half and your choice of 2 egg rolls or 2 pit stickers. Overall rating, so so, not bad not great.
Sushi:
Ordered the dragon roll. Nice presentation. Tasty. A lot of toppings. Bit bite. Rice could use a little more flavor in my opinion.
Dry Noodle dish:
Noting special, good portion.
Overall it was a chill place to go. They need more workers. The lady was taking orders, making orders and acting as a waitress.
In short: okay food, friendly people. I’d come back for sushi if I was in the area and we’re coming back to try the phở.

they even have sushi here that is pretty good.
i like their jalapeño chicken and kung pao chicken.
