John Sulak, DDS

I had an infection forming in my gum, was not satisfied with the service given to me from a previous dental clinic, and found Dr. Sulak on Unilocal.His office staff was friendly and I felt comfortable with them. Scheduling was easy. Marcia is so nice and bubbly. Dr. Sulak also took the time to ask me questions regarding my expectations of the visit to see how he can best meet my need. This is only the second service-​oriented place that has ever asked me what I expected. Such a simple concept, but it is so effective! He is extremely personable; you will absolutely adore him. You see, a decent dental cleaning can be had anywhere, but a professional, kind dentist and staff is hard to find.
Tina, their hygienist, is amazing. I love hearing stories and she talked to me throughout the entire cleaning which distracted me enough from focusing on the slight discomfort of having my mouth wide open for longer than normal. I was even able to ask mundane questions like differences in toothpaste and what toothpaste is best to use for myself. Tina and Dr. Sulak encouraged open discussion and asking questions regarding my dental health. Oh and they gave me a goody bag packed with a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and a Christmas ornament. It reminded me of my childhood when I would get stickers after an exam. *cheeky smile*
They are very good at following up with appointments as well. I’m probably missing some important details, but overall, good experience. I recommend Dr. Sulak and his staff. They are true professionals and radiate this amazing energy that left me feeling great even after I left.
The downside is that the office is open Mon — Thurs only, which conflicted with my school and work schedule, but Marcia worked with me on a good date for the appointment and followup. Everything worked out!

Dr. Sulak & his staff, are by far, the very best dentist & dental associates that I have ever experienced. I was at first referred by another doctor who gave rave reviews regarding Dr. Sulak to me, also a doctor, and a former flaming «Dentalphob». I was at first, slightly paranoid and suspicious… but being a former New Yorker. it is normal for us urban creatures.
They gradually and relentlessly wore down my phobia, until I almost look forward to my teeth cleaning! I hardly need Nitrous anymore and I don’t freak out anymore in my head, when the dreaded needle approaches! I am still unhappy with mandibular nerve blocks, but who isn’t?
They are extremely reliable and honest. The costs are very fair and Delta Dental usually pays the bulk of it.
Dr. Sulak is always happy & has great sense of humor. He definitely knows his stuff, keeps up with the literature, and is always a pleasure to see.
The two times that I have had dental emergencies, they always saw me ASAP and showed great compassion… WOW!
I ran out of superlatives for his practice… they are that good!
